HOW I BETRAYED MY SHEPHERD
I was a 24 year old electrician, I was married with 2 kids, I was my parish assistant secretary. I was a leader by rank. Our parish was a community church at Ikorodu.
My present shepherd was a very nice but strict man.
After a while, I decided to carry the cross since there have been many prophecies about it.
My shepherd received my decision with happiness and made me his assistant.
He was very nice, he started paying for my eldest son school fees, I move into a room in the church premises.
He even rallied the parish chairman to give my wife money to open a tailoring shop.
As time went by, after 3 years, my shepherd stay was renewed for another 2 years.
That's when some elders approached me that I should prepare to take over because my boss was too strict.
I started nursing the idea of becoming the Shepard.
After many secret meetings with my co conspirators, I was asked to lie against him that he is a ritualist and a womaniser., which I did.
A general meeting was called and I was asked to testify to it.
After the meeting, the parochial committee asked him to go and they wrote to ketu.
Baba Bada was the pastor then.
All efforts by the elders at ketu to resolve it proved abortive.
The day he was to leave, he looked at me and smiled, he just said " may God of oshoffa forgive you, but I am still your friend" and he left.
I took up the responsibility of the Shepard immediately, I was happy.
After about 4 months, against what I was told, a new shepherd and assistant was transferred to our parish. I was relegated. I went to meet the elders, I was told that I was not qualified to become the shepherd.
After about 6 months, i was also evicted from the church.
That's how I started going from church to church for 12 years,
One day I met my old shepherd at an event in a Parish, I was ashamed, I wanted to hide, he saw me and called me, I went to him I prostrated and he held me and started praying for me. I cried so much that everyone was looking at
