Iretiola Olushola Doyle, was born May 3rd 1967 in Ondo State. Ireti spent most of her early life with her family in Boston, USA before heading back to Nigeria for her secondary and Tertiary education. She obtained a Diploma in Mass Communication and a B.A. in Theatre Arts both from the University of Jos.
As an accomplished writer, actor, producer, presenter and entrepreneur, Iretiโs career has spanned over two decades in the Nigerian entertainment industry starting out in 1995.
She produced and presented her own fashion and lifestyle show titled โOge With Iretiolaโ for ten years and at different times anchored several A-list television shows, like Morning Ride and Today On STV and has written several screen plays.
The actress/TV presenter is very popular for her roles as Chief Tajuโ s 4th wife in Fuji House of Commotion, Sheila Ade-Williams in Tinsel and Dozieโs mother in the movie Wedding Party. Ireti has both national and international recognition for her outstanding performances. In 2013, she won Best Actress in a lead role at the GIAMA Awards in Houston, Texas. She also won Best Actress in a lead role at the 2014 Nollywood Movie Awards for her role Ovo in the psychological thriller Torn. The performance also earned her a African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA)nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2015. And in 2016 she won Best Actress In a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards for her role as Dr. Elizabeth in the movie FIFTY.
Ireti also runs a media consulting and production company called Sisi Ologe Entertainment which is an affiliate of her show Oge with Iretiola. And in 2017 she began an indigenous organic snail farm.
She is married to veteran broadcaster and actor Patrick Doyle and together have six children. credit: .tv
