The enemy isn’t trying to keep people from places of worship anymore.

He’s not worried about declarations of faith or crowded sanctuaries.

In fact, our worship centers are fuller than ever, with new branches and ministries springing up constantly.

Yet, there’s a concerning trend among believers.

Many who fill the pews every Sunday leave unchanged.

They carry the name of Christ but live in a way that denies His power.

Their lips speak His name, but their actions reflect the world.

Far too many supposed believers aren’t yielding to the Holy Spirit and, as a result, aren’t being refined by Him.

They manifest the works of the flesh daily.

On social media bios, you’ll find “Christian. Lover of God. Kingdom Youth.” But a scroll through their timelines reveals content that’s far from edifying.

The line between light and darkness is blurring.

Don’t fall into this trap.

If you’re committed to God, let your life be the evidence.

And if you’ve drifted away, make a clear decision to return wholeheartedly.

Don’t settle into the comfort of spiritual complacency—a state the enemy loves because it keeps you from the fullness of life in Christ.

Lukewarmness is advantageous to the devil.

Make spending time with God a priority.
The more you dwell in His presence, the more you will reflect His character.

Pray with purpose, study His Word with diligence, and seek His guidance in all things.

Obey Him, because obedience is the truest expression of love for God.

Your walk with Christ should be unmistakable. Stay rooted, stay committed, and let your light shine in a world desperate for the truth of God’s love.

Selah!

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬, 𝐛𝐮𝐭...

You need to.

Growth, in all its forms, demands separation.

To reach new heights in any area of your life, you have to let go of certain things.

• 𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙨.
• 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚.
• 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙨.
• 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨.
• 𝙀𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙨.
• 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨.
• 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.
• 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨.

Growth often nudges you to step back. To separate from the noise, from the familiar, from your comfort zone.

The 𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 teaches that to grow, you need to create distance.

It’s about stepping away from what’s holding you back.

Not about cutting ties harshly, but gently peeling away from the things that stunt your growth.

Recognize that in the space you create, there’s room for something new to flourish.

Imagine a plant, root-bound in a small pot. It needs more space to truly thrive.

We’re the same. We need room to stretch, to explore new soil, to breathe in fresh air.

And no, separation isn’t isolation. It’s about recalibrating.

Finding time to listen to your inner voice, without the constant chatter of the world.

In that silence, in that solitude, true growth happens.

It might feel lonely at first. That’s okay.
Growth often feels uncomfortable.

But as you fill this new space with what nurtures you, you’ll realize this separation was necessary.

It was a step toward something greater, something more aligned with who you are becoming.

Embrace separation. See it not as a loss, but as a gift.
A gift of space, clarity, and new beginnings.

In this space, you’ll find the strength to grow, the courage to evolve, and the wisdom to recognize what truly deserves your energy.

Trust that in this separation, you’re making room for a more authentic version of yourself to bloom.

Let me share the unwarranted, most-undeserved torture I put myself through last night.

I plugged in my phone to charge, but it just wouldn’t charge.

I kept unplugging and replugging the charger, and it became a tedious cycle.

Frustrated, I took a break and wondered, “Why isn’t my phone charging?”

Could it be that my phone’s charging port is bad? Unlikely!
My charger? I doubted it! Or... could it be the socket? No way! I used it a while ago.

So, what could be the reason? I glanced around thoughtfully and alas! the socket wasn’t turned on.

I’d never have guessed because I usually leave it on, but apparently, someone turned it off because the socket needed a break.😄

So far, I’ve had several experiences that point to the fact that a lot depends on realisation.

You’ve been doing everything in the ‘book’, but it’s not yielding the results you hoped for.

You pray, fast, study, and do not forsake the gathering of your brethren, yet God seems unreachable like the Nigerian police when you call them in times of trouble.🤐

Maybe there’s something you’re yet to realize, and your desire seems to be dependent on it.

A lot depends on realization.

It doesn’t just happen. Realization is a product of reflection—little wonder they have the same last name, ‘-tion’.😉

If you don’t spend time to think deeply, ask questions, seek answers, and gain understanding, the realization you need to forge ahead might never come to light.

I think a more metaphorical and visual way to describe realization is — “light bulb moment.”

I love the Yoruba proverb that is loosely translated: “When a person is REFLECTIVE, he/she will always be grateful.”

Enough said.

Anyway, I’m still unhappy about the 20 minutes of my life I wasted plugging and unplugging my charger while the socket was off.

And if my fingers could hurt so much from that, I can only imagine the pain my phone’s charging port felt!

Oh wait, it’s not a living thing—another realization!😄

Good morning❤️

Just a friendly reminder: God’s plan is way more epic than anything you could possibly imagine!

Now, take a moment and read these slowly👇🏾

🔸 God can use anyone. Never underestimate anyone.

🔸 Setbacks might be setups for your greatest story.

🔸 Trust God. He can amplify your tiniest effort.

🔸 Take risks. Your courage might change everything.

Happy Sunday😊

Let me sell this understanding to you, please pay with attention.

Do you know what it’s like to wait in a long line without knowing when you’ll reach the front?

It’s tough, right? Yes, waiting is tough!

Whether it’s waiting for answers to long-standing prayers, results from an endeavor, the materialization of a desire or need, or just for things to fall into place, the waiting period can feel like forever.

We pray, hope, and look for signs, but sometimes it feels like nothing’s happening.

Patience wears thin, doubts creep in, and we wonder if our prayers are even heard, let alone answered.

It’s frustrating, and it can make us feel lost or forgotten.

Here’s the secret: the waiting period isn’t just about killing time.

It’s a season for reflection and growth.

While you wait, do the following;

1️⃣ Strengthen your faith/ trust in God
2️⃣ Be genuinely happy for others
3️⃣ Improve old craft, learn new skills
4️⃣ Explore new opportunities outside your comfort zone

Finally, focus on what you can control—your mindset and actions.

Stay positive, stay proactive, and trust that every delay has a purpose.

Remember, God’s timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t match our own plans.

Happy Sunday, Fam❤️

I saw a video recently where a lady was telling her followers to “learn to thank God for the little things.”

I thought, “That’s right!”

But as I watched, she listed these little things: the air in your lungs, your kidneys, a loving family, the ability to move, a roof over your head…

Then I asked myself, what are the “big” things we should thank God for?

Cars?
Money?
Houses?

It’s disappointing how little appreciation people have for these “little things.”

Even in some churches, people rarely come forward to thank God for the air they breathe, their family’s love, or their health and peace of mind.

Instead, it’s all about their business, a new job, marriage, visa, or victory over witches and wizards.

We forget that these “little things” are the reasons we can achieve the supposed “big things.”

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says: “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Categorizing what to thank God for is just silly, no apologies😐

Thank God for everything, in every situation, period!

Happy Sunday❤️

Let me share a personal story of “if you don’t use it, you lose it.”

Back in the day, after completing secondary school, I sat for my first JAMB exam.

It got me university admission but not the course I wanted.

I was set on Mass Communication, and eventually, I did study it.

During that time, I found myself at a crossroads.

Unhappy but determined, I decided to learn practical skills during my wait.

I learned how to make chemical products like bar soap, detergent, antiseptic, insecticides, shampoo, and paint. I even ventured into baking.

These skills kept me busy and productive while waiting to sit for the next JAMB exam.

Well, the next exam still didn’t produce the course I wanted. I stayed home for another year.

By the end of that year, I started learning to sew. I signed up for fashion design training.

It was challenging, but I had a very good boss. She was skilled and a great person.

The following year, the University of Calabar offered me admission to study Theatre Arts, which I accepted.

UNN also offered me Sociology in the same year but I didn’t take it.

Before heading off to UNICAL, I was already sewing for my siblings, my little cousin, and even my aunt.

I was grateful for the opportunity to be productive, using every scrap of fabric I could find.

However, once at university, I forgot all about my tailoring skills.

Fast forward a few years later, my ex-colleagues from the fashion design training are now experts.

Meanwhile, I can barely adjust an outfit on a sewing machine.😆

The little I had learned before university, evaporated because I didn’t engage it.

The moral of the story is simple…

Whatever talent, passion, or skill you have, engage it.

Engage them fully and continuously, because if you don’t, you risk losing them.

Use them boldly, nurture them, and watch them flourish.

Engaging your talents, gifts, and skills ensures you maximize your potential and continue to grow.

Someone recently asked me, “What’s your favorite thing about writing?”

I spent the entire day pondering the question and my response.

Writing is my happy place. It’s where I find peace and excitement.

Let me tell you why…

First, I love the freedom.
Writing lets me explore any idea.
No limits, just creativity.

Writing is a great way to express myself.
I can pour out my heart. It’s like therapy.

I enjoy the challenge of finding the right words. It feels like solving a puzzle.
When it fits, it’s magic.

I love research. Exploring new topics is fun.
I learn something new every time.

Writing connects me to others. My words can inspire someone, hopefully in a positive way.
It feels rewarding.

I love editing. Making a piece better is satisfying. It’s like polishing a gem.

I enjoy the solitude.
Writing is my time alone.
It’s peaceful and reflective.

I love the finished product. Seeing my thoughts on paper is amazing. It’s my creation.

Writing gives me purpose.
It’s a way to leave a mark.
My words can last forever.

These are my favorite things about writing. Each one makes it special.

Writing is a journey, and I love every step.🤭

P.S: I find it much more soothing to write on paper with a pen than to type on a computer. Maybe I’m just an old soul.🙊
