When I first met Kassy Nwamara , it was at the inaugural dinner of the National Committee for the National Leadership Conference, Abuja.

She strolled in with blue jeans, a white branded Homeland Group T-shirt, and a face cap.

Inside my head (and I’m sure others thought the same) I was like: “Who shows up dressed like this to a black-tie dinner?!” 😂

Well… I later found out she’s not just anybody. She’s the GCEO of Homeland Group, one of Nigeria’s leading real estate companies. And she was dressed like that because commitments had her moving, and she’d rather show up slightly underdressed than not show up at all.

In my work with her while serving for NLC I discovered that that just who Kassy is, she shows up, and she shows up strong regardless!

She went on to serve as Vice Chairlady of the committee, and working with her as the sales and marketing lead for NLC was just amazing!

Fast forward to after we executed NLC successfully, I got another invitation, this time to serve on the National Committee for the Women in Real Estate (WIRE) WIRE Global Network National Conference convened by Kassy herself to lead Sales & Marketing for the conference.

This one is special to me because it’s not just service, it aligns perfectly with my passion for women empowerment and personal development.

I’m also excited to be on this committee with some of the most fantastic people who are experts and leaders in their respective industries

As you go again this week….

Remember that Consistency is Strategy.

Not just willpower or your ability to “showing up”

What systems do you have in place to help you stay consistent beyond the strength of your will?

Do you plan to show up strategically? Or you just wake up and show up?

Again, consistency is strategy.

If you can deploy systems that will help you go beyond your natural strength (e.g accountability partners, communities, time blocks, goal setting & tracking, habit audits etc), consistency will no longer be a challenge but a way of life.
