The Rise And Fall Of The Mysterious Master Strategist Who Cannot Master Any Strategy.

In the theatre of Nigerian politics, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is often hailed by admirers and bootlickers as a master strategist.

Yet beneath this carefully crafted narrative lies a troubling reality: Tinubu is less an independent leader and more a puppet, controlled by entrenched power brokers, oligarchs, and international players.

The fact remains that Tinubu's rise, governance style, and presidency today reflect not autonomy, but dependency.Tinubu’s political ascent was built on patronage networks, not grassroots independence.

He perfected the art of “godfatherism” and "agbero" politics in Lagos, his APC used insecurity as a tool against a sitting president, but today, he finds himself ensnared by the very system his party once manipulated to gain power.

His presidency is tethered to the demands of those who financed and orchestrated his campaign. Every major decision must appease these benefactors and foreign puppeteers, leaving little room for genuine reform or independent vision that can benefit ordinary Nigerians. This one of the reasons life is harder in Nigeria today than before he took power.

Nigeria’s political economy is dominated by wealthy elites who wield disproportionate influence. Tinubu’s administration has consistently advanced policies that protect elite interests—such as subsidy removals and privatization—while ordinary Nigerians bear the brunt of economic hardship. For example, he knows the subsidy thieves who turned the regime into one of Nigeria’s most corrupt ventures, because they are his friends, yet in three years of governance, how many of them has he prosecuted? This silence suggests Tinubu is executing the agenda of oligarchs and foreign overlords, not championing the people.

Far from bold or transformative, Tinubu’s policies mirror those of his predecessor—the total waste of time and abysmal failure called Buhari. Tinubu himself admitted he is a continuation of Buhari, even referring to himself as such. His lack of innovation signals that he is not steering Nigeria’s ship but merely following a script handed down by external actors—the same forces that saw President Jonathan removed and replaced with Buhari, a man unworthy even of local government leadership.

A true leader would have broken from failed traditions and taken a stand against foreign influences. A puppet simply repeats them. If Tinubu is not in France today, he is in Britain tomorrow, dancing to the drums of his overlords and taking instructions from them.

His presidency is also the product of delicate compromises among Nigeria’s political blocs. To maintain power, Tinubu must constantly appease political thugs, regional and ethnic factions, sacrificing independent decision-making for fragile coalition-building. This balancing act reduces him to a figurehead, constrained by competing interests.

For me, Tinubu is a disappointment. One would expect that as someone who taunts himself as a pro-democracy figure—a so-called member of the defunct NADECO, a man close to late MKO Abiola, an admirer of the late reformist Chief Obafemi Awolowo—he would have taken pragmatic steps to break Nigeria free from its endless cycle of bad governance. Instead, for Tinubu it is business as usual.

And yet, many Nigerians, ever as daft, myopic, and naive as they are, continue to support him.

The truth is that Tinubu’s presidency is not the story of a visionary leader charting Nigeria’s future. It is the story of an old, corrupt, exhausted, entitled, self-centered puppet, whose strings are pulled by godfathers, oligarchs, and external powers.

His actions reflect dependency, not autonomy; continuity, not innovation. And until Nigeria breaks free from this vicious cycle of puppet leadership, the promise of a better Nigeria—where all lives matter—will remain elusive and unfulfilled.

This is the sad and bitter truth.

I don't like Peter Obi and I want Nigerians to join me by not voting for him . Don’t vote Peter Obi;
He will actually take anti corruption seriously. He will revamp the EFCC, increase power to 10,000 MW, clamp down on insecurity, increase the literacy rate of our children and reduce the infant/child mortality rate.

Don’t vote Donald Duke;
He will turn Nigeria to Dubai. Look at what he did with Cross River. He brought the State out of the dark Ages and made it not only the tourist capital of Nigeria but the cleanest City in West Africa.

Don’t vote for Atiku;
He will continue the Obasanjo era economic reforms and communication innovations. He will think like a business man and modernize our military.

Please vote Asiwaju Tinubu;
Let us continue the MANDATE of failed reforms, failed security efforts and failed infrastructural reforms. Let us build roads where we don’t need and give our cronies the contracts. Let us buy new Private Jets for the Presidential fleet and Yacht for when we want to party and relax.

Let us spend 20B a year on traveling, let us visit Nigeria occasionally from France and pay lip service to the cries of the common man. Let us prop up politicians who cause chaos in their states and act with impunity.
Please vote Asiwaju ‘IT IS HIS TURN’.

My Attention And Focus Now Is How To Secure Return Tickets for 40 Senators Who Were Rigged Out In APC Primaries — Akpabio

Senate President Godswill Akpabio says the Senate leadership is still making efforts to support about 40 serving senators who failed to secure return tickets in their party primaries ahead of the next general election.

He noted that the high number of affected lawmakers was unexpected, confirming that many senators across different parties either lost primaries or were dropped during screening.

When Other Top Northern Politicians Rejected Peter Obi, I Stood With Him Because I Know He Is The Best Leader Nigeria Needs Now That APC Have Failed ------ Datti Baba Hamed former vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party

Vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 election, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, says it was out of sympathy that he agreed to run with Peter Obi.

Baba-Ahmed said this duirng an interview with Symfoni.

Accoridng to him, Obi had approached three prominent politicians ahead of the 2023 election, but none agreed to run with him.

He said his decision to become Obi’s running mate was driven by sympathy for the ex-Anambra governor and the country’s political situation at the time.

“People don’t understand that between me and Obi, there is a great deal of sympathy. I have sympathy for him. And this sympathy was at the core of our relationship. When he approached three other major politicians in 2022, I would have been glad if one of them had gone with Peter Obi in 2022. But they all avoided him. I felt bad for him and I felt bad for Nigeria as a nation.”

Baba-Ahmed said he voluntarily stepped in because he believed it was in the country’s best interest to do so.

“I took it upon myself because naturally I have always been a volunteer. For the sake of Nigeria, I extended that sympathy to him” he said.

I Regret Ganging Up With Tinubu And Others Against Goodluck Jonathan, Now I Understand Everyone In South South Respect Him, I Can't Even Criticise Him Again------- Rotimi Amaechi

Former Minister of Transportation and ex-Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has spoken warmly about former President Goodluck Jonathan, describing him as a highly respected figure in the South-South region.

Amaechi made the remark during an interview with Chude Jideonwo while reflecting on his political journey and past relationships with key figures in Nigerian politics.

Despite their well-documented political disagreements in the past, Amaechi appeared reluctant to criticize the former president during the conversation.

According to him, Jonathan occupies a unique place in the hearts of many people from the South-South because of his historic rise to Nigeria’s highest office.

He said: “For us in the South-South, Goodluck Jonathan is our god for now, so I will not talk about him.”

When further questioned about his past political battles with the former president, Amaechi repeated the statement and explained that he preferred not to discuss Jonathan in a negative way.

According to him, his position is rooted in the respect he has for the former president and his achievements. He suggested that Jonathan remains a significant symbol for many people in the region because of the role he played in Nigeria's political history.

The former Rivers State governor also made it clear that he was not interested in revisiting old political disagreements involving the former president. Instead, he chose to focus on the respect and admiration Jonathan continues to command among many South-South citizens.

Investigation reveal that a woman who was among those kidnapped from Ariko village during their Easter church service has given birth to a child in the bandits' camp. Remember, women, little children, and some men have now been in captivity for 58 days. However, this woman gave birth a week ago. A woman who emerged from the camp after trekking for 3 days in the bush said the birth was difficult because the pregnant woman, like others in the camp, was malnourished.

According to her, the pregnant woman was ill when labour began, but with the help of other women experienced in traditional birth, they managed to help her give birth. She said the women pooled bits and pieces of their clothes that hadn't been washed since they arrived and wrapped the child.

When the bandits refused to give them anything sharp to cut the umbilical cord, after about an hour, a woman, out of desperation, used her teeth to cut it. Later, they pleaded for water to clean the child and the mother, but the bandits refused, saying they wouldn't waste water on a child who wouldn't survive. They wanted to go to a nearby stream to wash the child, but the bandit said no.

They also pleaded with the bandits to release the women so she could go home with the baby, but the bandits refused. The next problem was that the mother's breasts had no milk, as nothing came out because she was so malnourished. A while later, the child began to suck the little that started to come. Hours later, they were still pleading for water to wash the child and the mother when it began to rain.

The woman said they resorted to wetting a cloth in the rain and using it to wipe the child. She said the child was still alive five days later when she came out, though part of the umbilical cord attached to the navel had not yet fallen off.

She described acute hunger and pus-filled rashes covering most of their skin, especially the children's. She described little children and the women with heads full of lice. She spoke of how young children in the camp are persuaded to drink large amounts of river water just to fill their bellies and reduce hunger. She spoke of how the bandits will lead women into the bush to forage for leaves, which they boil and eat. She spoke of a time when they went 5 days without anything to eat except boiled leaves and water.

She spoke of how the men are always chained with bicycle chains. She said that sometimes the bandits lead some men into the bush to pluck mangoes, which are then shared out as meals. She spoke of taking a bath only every 7 or 10 days. She said the bandits would es**rt women and men, in batches, to bathe in the river and then watch them, especially the women, while they bathe naked.

She said other sensitive things that can’t be mentioned, but please include them in your prayers.
