A recent highlight of my work was traveling to Arigidi, Ondo State, to document the biography and family history of the Ogidi family.

While some biographies are written from existing audio or written accounts, this project required firsthand interviews and research.

I had the opportunity to engage directly with the family, learn about their heritage, and document their story from the source.

The experience was both productive and memorable, enriched by the warm hospitality of the Ogidi family and exposure to the culture, traditions, and local delicacies of the Arigidi people.

More than gathering information for a book, the journey was about preserving history, connecting with people, and celebrating the values that have shaped generations.
