Launches Enterprise: Non-Custodial Infrastructure for Institutions

Most financial infrastructure was built in markets where payments already work. Bitnob was built where they don’t, and today it is making that infrastructure available in a new way.

The financial infrastructure company has launched Bitnob Enterprise, a non-custodial infrastructure platform designed to banks, fintechs, treasury teams and other institutions build digital asset products while maintaining control of their custody architecture, governance and risk-management systems.

The new platform allows organisations to access Bitnob’s wallet, payment, treasury, settlement, and blockchain infrastructure without transferring custody of assets to the company.

URGENT ADVISORY | Nigeria Cybersecurity Alert

Nigeria is experiencing a wave of cyberattacks, and the shocking part? Most of them could have been prevented.

Digital Encode Limited has issued an urgent advisory after a spike in breaches hitting banks, fintechs, government agencies, and payment service providers across the country.

The verdict from Prof. Obadare Adewale Peter ( ), Chief Visionary Officer of Digital Encode? Most of the issues are not typically zero-day vulnerabilities. Instead, they often arise from basic weaknesses in configuration, deployment practices, or poor credential management, all of which can be addressed using existing operational controls.

Here's what attackers are commonly exploiting:

Publicly accessible cloud storage that allows anonymous access| API keys and passwords hardcoded into apps | Credentials leaked in code repositories | Dev environments exposed in production | Uncontrolled use of Third-Party Hosting platforms | Weak authentication and poor access controls

These aren't zero-day exploits. They're basic hygiene failures, and they're widespread.

What organisations need to do NOW:
Audit all internet-facing assets | Revoke and rotate exposed credentials immediately | Review access logs for prior exploitation | Fix misconfigurations and verify the fixes | Strengthen monitoring and threat detection

"Proactive security hygiene, not reactive response, will determine resilience in Nigeria's evolving threat landscape," says Prof. Obadare

The doors are often left open. The question is: will you close yours before someone walks in?.

Why Your Phone Storage is Filling Up Faster Than Before And What to Do

Before now, a smartphone with 32GB or 64GB of storage was enough for many users. But today, even devices with 128GB fill up faster than many users expect, and some users also encounter similar challenges on 256GB, eventually.

This has made many smartphones users wonder why their devices seem to run out of storage much faster than before.

The answer lies in how smartphone and digital services have changed. Today’s mobile devices are more powerful than before, and the apps, photos, videos, and features that come with them also require more storage.
