Celebrity chef and Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci is getting set to cook what she calls the worldโ€™s largest pot of Nigerian jollof rice at Eko Hotel and Suites today, Friday, September 12, starting at 9 a.m.

Over 20,000 people have registered for the free โ€œGino World Jollof Festival with Hilda Baciโ€, where guests wonโ€™t pay for the meal.

The record attempt features a 6-metre-wide, 6-metre-tall pot and will use 250 bags of rice, in collaboration with Gino.

Hilda rose to global fame in May 2023 after completing a 100-hour cooking marathon, which earned her a Guinness World Record.
