We couldn't have had it better last night on Waves Gist Zone with the big fish in the studio Opadere Yinka Femi.

The after-studio-session gists we had was worth a billion dollar. Femi is deep. We learnt a lot from him. Again, we won a jackpot. He would be with us in the studio once every month going forward. What more could we have asked for?

I will keep the other mouth watery goodies till Friday. You dont want to miss Gist Zone again. We are switching things UP.

INTRODUCING OLAYINKA JESUTOMILOLA

Good morning friends. This is to announce and introduce to you the latest addition to the Waves Media family, Miss Olayinka Jesutomilola aka Mika.

Olayinka is joining Waves Media with years of experience as a radio producer, host and TV presenter. She has graced several stages as a red carpet host and have interviewed quite a number of A-list artistes and actors in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

She would be replacing the go-getter Moyosore Ogunyemi who is on a mission to break new grounds and make us proud. We wish her well.

Mika is coming with a whole new vibe. I am excited to work with her. She would be joining me on the show later this evening, I am sure you don't want to miss that.

Today on WAVESPLUS, we made good our promise to invite AbdulRahman AbdulAzeez, the winner of the Lagos State Spelling Bee competition and consequently a One day Governor of Lagos State to our studio.

We had a very lenghty conversation and one of the things we took away from the conversation is that you have to be willing to do the extra to be the extraordinary. He told us the extras that he did that qualified him for the honour. Soft spoken, focused and of course a reader. We like him.
