The King in the Village
Long ago, a mighty king left his palace to visit a small village. He expected drums, gifts, and people bowing. But when he arrived, the villagers continued farming, cooking, and playing as if nothing happened.
Surprised, the king asked, “Do you not know who I am?”
An old farmer looked up and said:
“We know. But here, the sun is our ruler, the rain is our blessing, and hard work is our crown.”
The king smiled. That day, he learned that true greatness is not in titles, but in service to the people.
