Every time I post a photo like this, someone asks me what I do for work.

The answer?

I work remotely.

If that’s a lifestyle you’re working towards, my Remote Work Ebook will show you how to start positioning yourself for global opportunities.

You can’t expect different results from the same strategy.

If you’ve been applying for months without getting interviews, ask yourself:

• Has my LinkedIn improved?
• Is my CV positioned for the roles I want?
• Am I applying strategically or just hoping something sticks?

Sometimes it’s not about applying more.

It’s about positioning yourself better.

I’ve opened a few 1:1 Remote Work Consultation slots where we’ll work on your positioning, review your CV and LinkedIn, and build a strategy that fits your experience.

Send me CONSULTATION or click the link in my bio to book.

Okay, I’m finally saying this out loud 🇲🇽

I get messages every single week asking about life in Mexico. Some of you want to come for work. Some for school. Some just want a real holiday without guessing your way through it. And a few of you are planning to have your baby here (yes, really, and yes, I have answers).

I’ve been replying to all of this in DMs for a while now. So today, I’m making it official: Mexico consultations are here, through Remote Lifestyle Co.

Two options depending on what you need:
🗣️ A quick call for fast, specific answers
📋 A deeper package for full planning, relocation, extended stays, birth logistics, all of it

Booking isn’t live yet. My list gets first access.

If you’re even a little curious, comment “MEXICO” or DM me and I’ll add you to the waitlist myself. First people in get first access when this opens.

Mexico changed my whole life. Let’s see what it could do for yours 🌴

If you’re in a season where nothing seems to be happening, keep going.

Keep applying.
Keep learning.
Keep improving.
Keep believing.

I know it’s easy to get discouraged when the interviews aren’t coming, when recruiters go quiet, or when it feels like everyone else is moving ahead.

But one opportunity can change everything.

One email.
One interview.
One “yes.”

If remote work, a career change, or a new life is something you’re working towards, don’t give up just because it hasn’t happened yet.

Your breakthrough might be closer than you think. 🤍

You can’t apply your way out of a bad strategy.

I see it all the time.

People tell me they’ve applied for 300… 500… even 1,000 jobs.

Then I look at their CV, LinkedIn and the roles they’re applying for, and it’s obvious why they’re not getting interviews.

A better strategy will always outperform more applications.

If you’re serious about landing a remote role, let’s fix the foundation first.

I’ve opened a few slots for my 1:1 Remote Work Consultation where we’ll:
• Review your CV
• Optimize your LinkedIn
• Clarify your positioning
• Build a realistic job search strategy for your experience

If you’re tired of applying and hearing nothing back, send me a DM with CONSULTATION or book through the link in my bio.

I took this photo at a place called The Nashville Tractor.

At first glance, it’s just another travel photo.

But every trip reminds me of something I never want to take for granted again: freedom.

Last week I flew from Cancun to Nashville. Then Denver. Three completely different cities. Same laptop. Same work. Same life, just continuing wherever I happened to be.

A few years ago, a trip like that would have meant taking annual leave. Asking permission. Counting down PTO days and still feeling rushed the whole time.

Today I get to structure my work around my life instead of squeezing my life around work.

I want to be honest though, because I think it matters more than the highlight reel.

It hasn’t been a straight road. There has been uncertainty. Rebuilding. A few full restarts I didn’t see coming. Nights where I genuinely wondered if I’d made the wrong call walking away from the “safe” path.

But every new city reminds me why I chose this one.

If you’re still in the “someday” phase of remote work, here’s what I’d want you to hear:
The uncertainty doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. That messy middle is just part of the process.

And you don’t need a dramatic quit-your-job moment to start. You need one remote-friendly skill, one better application, one real conversation with yourself about what you actually want.

Freedom isn’t about working less.
It’s about having more choices and that’s what I’m building, one client, one resume rewrite, one conversation at a time.

If you’re sitting somewhere in that “someday” phase and not sure what your first real step even looks like, send me a message. I’m not going to pitch you anything in the comments. I just remember how disorienting that starting point felt, and I’d rather talk you through it than watch you stay stuck.

One of the biggest lies we’ve accepted is that your salary is a reflection of your talent.

It isn’t.

In many cases, it’s a reflection of where you’re being paid.

Two people can have the same skills, the same experience, and do the same job. One earns in naira, the other earns in dollars.

The difference isn’t always talent.

Sometimes, it’s access.

That’s why I’m so passionate about helping Nigerians position themselves for remote opportunities. Because your skills shouldn’t be limited by your location.

If earning in a stronger currency is one of your goals, don’t wait for things to magically change. Start positioning yourself for the global market.

If you don’t know where to begin, my ebook is a great place to start. Link in my bio. 🤍

Remote job boards where Nigerians actually get hired.

If you're scrolling through job sites but not getting responses, you might be on the wrong platforms.

Here are the sites that actually work for African professionals:

Slide 1: FlexJobs - Pre-vetted jobs, no scams. Subscription required but worth it.

Slide 2: We Work Remotely - Tech, writing, design roles. Strong international hiring.

Slide 3: Remoteok - Direct from companies. Browse by skill, no algorithm nonsense.

Slide 4: LinkedIn Jobs - Filter by "remote" + location. Most companies here are legit.

Slide 5: Upwork & Fiverr - For freelancers. Build your portfolio, get rated, earn global rates.

Slide 6: Toptal - If you're a developer or designer, this pays the best. Harder to get in but worth it.

The key: Apply on multiple platforms at once. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. And always check the company's website directly before applying — if they're real, they'll be there.

Which platform have you had the best luck with?

Companies hiring remote with NO interviews required.

Your portfolio is your resume. Your work samples are your interview.

Some companies have so much demand they skip the interview entirely if your application is solid.

Slide 1: Amazon (customer service roles) - Quick assessment, then offer.

Slide 2: Shopify (support teams) - They prioritize work samples over interviews.

Slide 3: Teleperformance - High volume hiring, minimal interviews for qualified candidates.

Slide 4: TTEC - Customer support focused. Fast-track for strong applications.

Slide 5: Concentrix - Volume hiring means less gatekeeping.

Slide 6: Appen - Data annotation and evaluation. Quick onboarding.

The catch: Your portfolio or application has to be exceptional. No fluff. They're skipping interviews because they're busy, not because they lower standards.

If you hate interviews, focus on building killer work samples and let your portfolio do the talking.

Have you tried the no-interview route?
