Lucrecia Kormassa Koiyan, a 19-year-old healthcare worker in Loganville, Georgia, has been arrested after a disturbing video went viral online.

Authorities say the video showed her twerking over the heads of multiple disabled patients inside a care facility. After the footage surfaced on social media, police launched an investigation.

She is now facing a felony charge for allegedly exploiting disabled or vulnerable persons — a serious criminal offense under Georgia law.

Investigators say the case isn’t just about inappropriate behavior — it’s about protecting people who cannot protect themselves.

The incident has sparked outrage online and renewed debate about accountability inside care facilities.

Should penalties be harsher for anyone who exploits vulnerable patients? 👇

🧠 Microcephaly: Why It Happens 🧠

Microcephaly is a condition where a baby’s head is smaller than expected for their age and s*x. It usually indicates abnormal brain development.

Common causes include:
1️⃣ Genetic factors – Inherited conditions can affect brain growth.
2️⃣ Infections during pregnancy – e.g., Zika virus, rubella, or cytomegalovirus.
3️⃣ Severe malnutrition – Lack of proper nutrients during pregnancy can impact fetal growth.
4️⃣ Exposure to harmful substances – Alcohol, certain drugs, or toxins.
5️⃣ Interrupted oxygen supply – Problems in the placenta or umbilical cord can affect brain development.

💗 Microcephaly varies in severity. Early care and therapy can help improve outcomes.

⚡ Lightening: What It Means During Pregnancy

What is Lightening?

Lightening happens when your baby drops lower into the pelvis in preparation for birth.

Also called “engagement” of the baby’s head.

When It Happens:

Usually 2–4 weeks before labor for first-time moms

Can happen later or closer to labor in moms who have given birth before

Signs You Might Notice:

Lower belly – You may feel less pressure on your lungs

More pelvic pressure – Baby’s head presses on the bladder 💦

Easier breathing – Less heartburn or shortness of breath

Changes in walking – Waddle or shift in posture

✨ Lightening is a sign your body is getting ready for labor, but timing varies for each mom.

🤰 Stages of Labor: How It Feels

1️⃣ Early Labor

Cervix begins to thin and open

Contractions: mild, irregular, like strong period cramps

Can last several hours; excitement mixed with nerves

2️⃣ Active Labor

Cervix dilates faster (4–7 cm)

Contractions: stronger, longer, closer together

Feeling: more intense, focus on breathing and coping

3️⃣ Transition Phase

Cervix fully dilates (8–10 cm)

Contractions: very strong and frequent

Feeling: pressure, urgency, emotional intensity

4️⃣ Pushing Stage

Mom pushes with contractions

Feeling: pressure, stretching, burning, then relief as baby moves down

5️⃣ Birth of Baby 👶

Baby’s head emerges, then the body

Feeling: overwhelming joy, relief, and excitement

6️⃣ Delivery of Placenta

Placenta separates and exits

Contractions: mild, afterbirth cramps

Feeling: relief, bonding, and exhaustion

✨ Every labor is different—pain varies, but the joy of meeting your baby makes it worth it.

• The womb is a protective environment – baby is cushioned by amniotic fluid 💧

• The placenta provides oxygen and nutrients while removing waste 🩸

• Amniotic sac & fluid act as a shock absorber

• Uterus muscles keep the baby secure

• Most pregnancies are very safe with regular prenatal care ✅

💖 Regular check-ups, healthy habits, and avoiding harmful substances help keep your baby safe.
