“There was a time I had only one shirt. Just one. I would wash it at night and wear it the next morning. I didn’t have money for food most days. I would trek from audition to audition, sweating and tired. One day, someone told me, “This acting thing is not for people like you.” That statement páined me. But instead of giving up, I worked harder. Today, when people shout my name and beg for pictures, I remember those days. I smile, not because I’ve made it, but because I didn’t quit.”
