The book is a beautiful description of the glorious past of Yorubaland. It analyses in-depth the ethics, tradition, history and politics of Yoruba. The book explores extensively the natural, progress and harmonious position of the Yoruba communities there by creating a scope of comparison between the ancient and the contemporary developments.
All nations and tribes are facing gradual erosion of beautiful socio-cultural values hence energized resistance (in form of sound awareness) should be created to prevent further erosion of impressive traditional values. The inability of a child to know much about his native society will cause a horrible disengagement between the child and his traditional background .
