أتقدم بخالص الشكر والامتنان إلى أسرتي؛ رابطة خريجي كلية دار الكتاب والسنة -حرسها الله- بما فيها من أساتذتي وإخواني وأحبابي، جزاكم الله خيرا على ما تفضلتم بها من التهاني والدعوات الصالحة بمناسبة تخرّجي، وفي هذا الإطار أُفْصِح عن تشرُّفي بمنهلي، مخاطبا في مطلع السُّباعيّة من يتعجب من نجاحي، وقلت:-

أَتَعْرِفُ يَنبُوعِي وُتُنْكِرُ نُضْرَتِي؟
أَتَعْرِفُ أَنِّي دَرْكَبِيٌّ وَتَمْتَرِي ؟

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ الدَّارَ بُوْرِكَ حَوْلَهَا
يُخَرَّجُ فِيْهَا أَفْقَهُ النَّاسِ عَبْقَرِي

هِيَ الأُمُّ فِي لِيْنٍ هِيَ الْأَبُ شِدَّةً
وَفِيْهَا مِنَ الْإِخْوَانِ جُبَّارُ خَاطِرِ

فَلِلَّهِ كُلُّ الْحَمْدِ أَنْ طَابَ مَنْهَلِي
فَهَا أَنَا دَارِيٌّ تَفَوَّقَ أَزْهَرِي

رَعَىٰ اللهُ مَوْلَانَا الإِمَامَ مُدِيْرَنَا
هُوَ الرَّوْضَةُ الغَنَّاءُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَفْخَرِ

وَأَسْتَوْدِعُ الرَّحْمَانَ دَارِي وَمَنْهَلِي
وَرَابِطَتِي الغَرَّاءَ مِن كُلِّ ضَائِرِ

فلَا تَعْجَبَنْ يَا صَاحِبِي مِنْ تَفَوُّقِي
فَإِنِّيَ دَارِيٌّ وَإِنِّيَ أَزْهَرِي

It is indeed a pleasurable moment for The Alumini of Darul Kitab Wa-Sunnah as one of her products who gained scholarship four years ago from the college to Azhar University; badged a 1st Class honours in the University, and became Best Graduating Student of the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies.

The Alumi rejoices and celebrates with their colleague, ABDUL AZEEZ MUH'D -L- AWWAAL on this great achievement.

In the other hand, all praises to Allah Almighty, afterwards, a profound gratitude to the 1st malami Unandoma of Ilorin, the Founder and Director of Darul Kitab wa-Sunnah College of Islamic and Arabic Studies, and the Imam of National Mosque Abuja, in person of Doctor Abdul Qudir Jum'ah As-Salmon Sholaagberu (Aaafaahu Lloh) for his fatherly support on this achievement. May the Almighty reward him in abundance .

Sulaiman Al Rajhi, once one of the richest men in the world is no longer a billionaire — and that’s by choice. Now 95, the Saudi banking mogul stunned the world by giving away almost $16 billion of his fortune, making it one of the largest individual charitable donations in history.

Al Rajhi didn’t just donate cash — he gave away shares in Al Rajhi Bank, one of the most profitable Islamic banks in the world, along with real estate, businesses, poultry farms, and more.

Two-thirds of his wealth was placed into waqf (Islamic endowment) to support long-term causes like education, healthcare, food security, and religion, while the rest was given to his children. Among his many initiatives is the Sulaiman Al Rajhi University, a nonprofit focused on health and Islamic finance.

He’s no longer on the Forbes list, but he’s now on a more meaningful list — of people who chose humanity over personal wealth. His reason? “Everything I gave, I gave for God.” He built his fortune from nothing — born into poverty, he worked as a porter and courier before becoming a self-made billionaire. Al-Hikmah University Governing Council Approves the appointment of Professor Lateef Folorunsho Oladimeji as the 6th Substantive Vice-Chancellor.

Until his appointment, Professor Oladimeji was the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Professor Oladimeji has previously served in various administrative positions within the university. He was the pioneer Head, Department of Islamic Studies; a pioneer member of the University Senate till date; the pioneer Registrar and Secretary to Council, pioneer Director, Centre for Part-Time and Professional Studies (CPPS); Director, Centre for Research, Industrial Linkages and International Collaboration (CRIIC); pioneer Director of Information Unit; Director Academic Planning (DAP); and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC).

He was also the Maiden Inaugural Lecturer of the University on January 7th, 2022 titled: “Roving Preachers of the Message: Deconstructing Da'wah Across Borders”
