Knowledge is Not Taken From These People
Imām Mālik ibn Anas رحمه الله said:
“Knowledge is not taken from four: a fool who makes his foolishness known; a person of desire (i.e., bidʿah) who calls to it; a person known for lying when conversing with the people, even if he does not tell lies of Rasūlullāh ﷺ; and a man who possesses virtue and uprightness who does not know what he narrates.”
