And here is my comeback!

Unilorin announced that about 15,000 aspirants applied for the post Utme and they are going to accept about 10,000 Students, the other 5000 will be laid off.

Amazing!

This made me to keep thinking, who are those that will be accepted? Who are those that will be laid off? Who are those that will be given the course they don't want? And who are those that will be given their desired courses? Who are those that will accept the admission and who are those that will reject it and try again next year?

It has been a mix of reaction of those that will happily accept the admission and those that will grudgingly accept it and plan to reapply next year.

My utmost prayer goes to those that will miss admission this year again. That the Lord will help their heart, heal their mind and give them the courage to do it again and this time with answered prayers.

Dear Nigeria student aspirants, my prayer is with you.

Keep hope alive, it will be well.

Its been over a month of silence here!

Chai!

Exhaustion is real!

My second semester was mentally draining, yet I keep telling my brain to cooperate till after exam.

Even when I supposed to stop and take a break, I keep pushing begging this brain to do one more day.

Finally, Exam has finished and I thought now this brain can rest.

But this brain said, I'm not just resting, I'm taking a break.

The past one month has been a really tough time for me.

I couldn't read, I couldn't think, I couldn't compose words, I kept forgetting things and the worst part, I lost my enthusiasm for things.

I was just indoor, feeling bored but yet couldn't do anything.

Thankfully, I'm feeling better now. I think I'm well rested and I can take it a step at a time now.

So, I am back to give you back to back school gist.

Who missed me here? πŸ€—

DO YOU KNOW?

The term eigengrau, meaning "intrinsic gray" in German, describes the faint dark gray color many people perceive when their eyes are closed or when they are sitting in complete darkness.

Although we often describe it as seeing "black," the visual experience is usually not true black because the retina and brain continue generating low levels of electrical activity even when no light enters the eye.

This constant background activity creates tiny random signals, known as neural or visual noise, which produce the subtle gray appearance instead of absolute darkness.

Everyone's experience of eigengrau is slightly different, and many people also notice faint patterns, moving shapes, or flashes of light called phosphenes, especially after rubbing their eyes or spending time in the dark.

Absolute black is something our visual system rarely experiences because the eyes and brain are never completely inactive while we are awake.

Well, well, well...

I would have given you tips on how to go about it, but I am not in politics yet.

Do I wish to join politics? Yes!
Would I join politics? Yes!
Am I in politics yet? No!

I'm aiming for SU president, pray along with me. 😁🀩

But to answer this question, all boil down to Time management and knowing what works for you.

A lot of people can multitask beautifully well, like me.

And some find it difficult to even focus on one things.

Just know yourself and work with that.

DO YOU KNOW?

Male praying mantises do perform courtship displays, often approaching cautiously and making subtle body movements or abdomen vibrations to signal that they are a potential mate rather than prey.

If the female accepts him, mating begins.

During this time, the male remains extremely cautious because females are larger and powerful predators that can mistake him for food.

Female mantises are famous for sexual cannibalism, but it is far less common in the wild than many people believe.

It happens more often when the female is hungry or under stress, and many males successfully mate and escape unharmed.

If a female does bite off the male's head, his body can continue mating for a short time because the nerve centers controlling reproduction are located in the abdomen rather than the brain.

In some cases, decapitation may even increase mating movements by removing inhibitory signals from the brain.

The male doesn't "choose" to be eaten or ignore the attack. His nervous system simply continues functioning briefly, while the female gains valuable nutrients that can help her produce healthier eggs.

When I was in college of Education, I was privileged to be the class representative of my department.

My department comprises of 70% women.

But these ladies are extraordinary!

It was more like an interchangeably character. Our men were acting like women while the women shoulder up the responsibility of the department.

We were on the farm, carrying cutlasses, making ridges, planting crops, watering the vegetables and even applying manures.

I had such a fun leading these great people. One of the best school experience I can't forget in a minute is representing this great department.

If any of you could see this, know that I miss you all so much. 🀩

DO YOU KNOW?

Their courtship is one of the most elaborate in the spider world, with males performing colorful dances, waving their legs, vibrating their bodies, and sometimes producing tiny sounds to win over a female.

Females carefully watch these displays and often prefer males with the most energetic, coordinated, and species specific dances.

A successful performance signals that the male is healthy, strong, and genetically fit.

If the female isn't impressed, she usually does something much less dramatic than the meme suggests. Most of the time, she simply ignores the male, walks away, or chases him off without mating.

Cannibalism can happen, but it is relatively uncommon and usually occurs when the female is extremely hungry, the male approaches carelessly, or he gets too close before she is receptive
