But somehow, the DPP’s legal advice is missing.

That’s not a small document to leave out.

Has anyone actually seen it? Does anyone have a copy?

*Press Statement by the Youth Leader, Ilorin West Local Government*

Our attention has been drawn to recent attempts to revive allegations linking our leader, *Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki* , to the unfortunate Offa robbery incident—an issue that has already been thoroughly addressed within the ambit of the law.

It is important to remind the public that the judicial process surrounding the Offa robbery case reached its logical conclusion after careful consideration of all evidence presented. The courts, acting independently and in accordance with the rule of law, did not indict Dr. Saraki. Any effort to reopen or politicize the matter at this stage raises serious concerns about respect for due process and the sanctity of judicial pronouncements.

We view the renewed allegations, especially as echoed by the administration of Governor AA, as a calculated attempt to score political points, distract from governance issues, and undermine the reputation of a respected statesman. Such actions risk eroding public trust in our institutions and divert attention from the pressing needs of the people of Kwara State.

As youth leaders and stakeholders in Ilorin West, we stand firmly for justice, fairness, and truth. We urge all political actors to refrain from weaponizing sensitive security matters for partisan advantage. The pain experienced by the victims of the Offa robbery should never be exploited for political gain.

Dr. Saraki has consistently demonstrated leadership, commitment to democratic values, and dedication to the development of Kwara State and Nigeria at large. Attempts at blackmail or character assassination will not deter us from supporting credible leadership and progressive governance.

We therefore call on all well-meaning citizens to remain vigilant, uphold the rule of law, and reject any narrative that seeks to distort facts for political convenience.

Offa Robbery: PDP Chairmen Dismiss Gov AbdulRazaq’s Comments, Call Them a “Halitosis” Statement

The Chairman of all PDP Local Government Chairmen in Kwara State, Hon. AbdulKadir Issa, has reacted to the recent comments by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the Offa robbery incident, describing them as inconsequential and undeserving of serious response, and adding that the statement came from a “bad mouth.

In a statement made available to Trove Online Media, Hon. Issa, speaking on behalf of PDP chairmen in the state, alleged that the governor’s remarks were a calculated attempt to reopen old wounds and rekindle the pain of the Offa community, particularly families of the victims.

Hon. AbdulKadir Issa warned the Kwara State Government, led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, against deploying state machinery to intimidate politicians and the general public, stressing that Kwarans are now too enlightened to be swayed by political distractions.

Reflecting on the tragic incident, which resulted in loss of lives and destruction of property, Issa expressed concern that the governor was revisiting the matter instead of addressing pressing security challenges in the northern part of the state

They accused the governor of attempting to divert attention from what he described as his administration’s shortcomings.

Hon. Issa further stated that Abubakar Bukola Saraki, former President of the Senate, had been publicly cleared of any involvement in the Offa robbery case

They alleged that the issue had previously been politicised during the administration of Muhammadu Buhari as part of efforts to undermine Saraki’s political influence ahead of the 2019 elections.

They advised Governor AbdulRazaq to concentrate on governance rather than what he described as attempts to tarnish Saraki’s reputation, urging him to address security concerns and economic challenges facing the state.

Hon Issa on behalf of other PDP Local Government Chairmen called on the general public, particularly residents of Kwara State, to question the Governor reason behind the recent resurrection of Offa Robbery incident amid ongoing security and economic difficulties
