Burkina Faso military leaders don sign one deal wit Russia to build one nuclear power plant wey go increase electricity supply.
Burkina Faso na one of di kontris for world wey dey suffer serious electricity palava, na only 21 % of di pipo dey connected to power.
Dis new deal wit Russia na one of di result of di plenty tok tok between Burkina Faso military ruler, Capt Ibrahim Traore and Russia President Vladimir Putin for July during di Russia-Africa summit for Moscow.
Capt Traore ask President Putin to help am set up one nuclear power plant for Burkina Faso, wey im say go help give light to im kontri and oda neighbouring kontris.
"We get critical need for light, dis na important point for me becos we need, if possible, to build one nuclear power station for Burkina Faso to produce electricity," im tok dat time.
Dis deal na part of Burkina Faso target to give 95% electricity to pipo for city and 50% for pipo for villages by 2023.
