Marriage is not a place to show who can talk the most. I’ve seen homes break just because the wife talks too much and listens too little. Even when the man is trying to speak, she has already said ten words. My dear women, even if you earn more or know more, it doesn’t hurt to respect your husband by knowing when to speak and when to listen. That’s not weakness, it’s wisdom.

Some homes would still be standing if only the wife had held back a few words. Sometimes peace comes from silence, from choosing not to argue, from simply listening with love. So please, train yourself. Be slow to speak, quick to listen, and gentle with your words. That’s how to protect your marriage.
