CONCERN OVER KIDNEY DISEASE IN GASHUA, JAKUSKO AND NGURU
The growing cases of kidney disease are causing serious concern among communities in Gashua, Jakusko and Nguru. In some households, there are reports of people suffering from the condition.
There are also concerns that poor water quality may be linked to the problem, although this requires proper scientific investigation to establish the facts.
We therefore call on the relevant health authorities to conduct a comprehensive investigation, identify the actual causes, and take urgent measures to protect the lives and health of the affected communities.
The health and lives of our people must be a priority.

A Respectful Appeal Regarding the Location of the Proposed Jakusko Central Market

We once again express our sincere appreciation to the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, for approving the construction of a central market in Jakusko.

Our humble request is simply that the proposed location be reviewed before construction begins, taking into consideration population, accessibility, and the long-term benefits to the people of Jakusko as a whole.

This is not opposition to development in Girgir. Rather, it is a sincere appeal to ensure that this important project is located where it can best achieve its purpose and provide maximum benefits to the people for years to come.

We sincerely hope that His Excellency will consider this appeal with wisdom and fairness. May Almighty Allah guide him to make the best decision for the people of Jakusko and Yobe State as a whole. Ameen.

ALHAMDULILLAH — WORK HAS STARTED ON THE WATER PROJECT
Alhamdulillah, following the earlier report regarding the provision of water facilities for the people of Nasarawa and Buji communities in Jakusko, we are pleased to confirm that the workers have now arrived and work has officially commenced.
We sincerely appreciate Hon. Hassan Kaikaku Jakduwa, Member Representing Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency, for his efforts towards providing access to clean drinking water for our communities.
This is a welcome development, and we pray that the project will be completed successfully and bring lasting benefits to the people of Nasarawa and Buji.

Please, I would like to seek clarification regarding these water pumps in Nasarawa Ward, Jakusko Local Government Area.

These water pumps have not been functioning for almost five years, and up till now, they have neither been repaired nor replaced.

The question is: What exactly is the problem? Is the problem with the pumps themselves, the community, or the people who constructed them?

We sincerely appeal to the relevant authorities and stakeholders to provide the community with a clear and honest explanation as to why these water pumps have been left non-functional for almost five years without repair or replacement.

Water is life, and the people of Nasarawa deserve to know the truth and have access to a reliable source of clean water.

Sai dai, kamar yadda aka sanar, an tsara gudanar da aikin ne a Girgir, alhali har yanzu ba a fara aikin ba. A Respectful Appeal to the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN, Regarding the Location of the Proposed Jakusko Central Market
First and foremost, we sincerely appreciate the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN, for approving the construction of a modern central market in Jakusko Local Government Area. This is a commendable initiative that will promote trade, create economic opportunities, and improve the livelihoods of the people.
However, according to the information made available, the market is proposed to be sited in Girgir, while construction has not yet commenced. We therefore respectfully appeal to His Excellency to kindly direct a review of the proposed location and encourage wider consultation with the people and relevant stakeholders, so that the market can be located where it will provide the greatest benefit to the largest number of residents in Jakusko.
This appeal is not in opposition to the project. Rather, it reflects our sincere desire to see this important government investment achieve its full purpose and deliver maximum long-term benefits for the entire Jakusko community.

Alhamdulillah! A positive outcome has been achieved.
Following the peaceful and respectful concerns raised by the people of Jakusko over the lack of relief after the devastating windstorm that affected our community, we are pleased to learn that the Distinguished Senator and former President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, has approved a ₦10,000,000 relief donation for the people of Jakusko.
We sincerely express our gratitude to him for listening to the voice of the people and responding with this generous gesture. We also appreciate everyone who respectfully advocated for the rights and welfare of the affected community.
We hope the relief fund will be distributed fairly, transparently, and will reach those who were most severely affected by the disaster.
May Almighty Allah reward Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan abundantly, bless him with good health and continued wisdom, and protect our communities from all forms of disasters. Ameen.

Ina kuma kira ga al'ummar Jihar Gombe da su san cewa Sheikh Pantami wata babbar ni'ima ce a gare su. Ba kowace jiha ce Allah Ya azurta da malami mai ilimi, hikima da tasiri irin nasa ba. Don haka ku yi ƙoƙarin kare mutuncinsa da amfana da iliminsa.
