Korede Bello cried when fans told him he was a one-hit wonder!

Nine years ago, after dropping his hit song "Godwin," Nigerians were happy that a global superstar was emerging from Mavin Records!

Following the success of this song, fans expected him to release more tracks, but surprisingly, he disappeared from the main stage!

Since 2017, it seems nobody has been listening to him anymore. This year, fans took to his Instagram to ask where he has been.

Korede Bello replied with an emotional message:
"I feel surprised when people ask where I am because I’ve been here all this while. I’m happy people are asking where I am and not me asking myself that question."

It seems that after this hit song, the singer was not comfortable at Mavin Records. He terminated his contract, traveled to London, and continued his studies while still making music.

Without the record label's support to promote his music, his career came to an end.

Korede Bello said he saw a lot of things at Mavin Records and felt like he wasn’t himself anymore, so he had to quit.
