Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State graced the grand finale of the TASAGA 2024 Concert, held at the First MBCN Baptist Church in Gembu yesterday.
The event, themed "Better Is A Day With You," showcased performances by the TASAGA Mass Choir and other choirs, celebrating gospel music and spiritual fellowship.
In his address, Governor Kefas extended his gratitude to the leadership of the First MBCN Baptist Church and the Taraba State Association of Gospel Artists (TASAGA) for the invitation.
He also commended the executive Chairman of Sardauna Local Government Council for his support of the concert and announced that Sardauna would become the new headquarters for TASAGA in the State.
Drawing from Psalm 84:1-12 in his sermon, titled "Uprooting the Vulture in Closed Places,"
Governor Kefas reflected on the challenges faced by David and his deep longing for the presence of the Lord. He encouraged believers to earnestly seek God’s presence, particularly during difficult times, and reassured them of God’s attentiveness to their prayers.
The concert was attended by several dignitaries, including the Secretary to the Government of the State, Chief Barr. G. T. Kataps, former Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (DCN) Abel P. Diah, as well as members of the State House of Assembly and various Commissioners.
