Yesterday was a thrilling day for the Boys and Girls Brigade as they set out on an educational adventure to the Mohammadu Buhari International Airport, led by their enthusiastic leaders, Captain James Vakru and Lieutenant Jerry Dio. As they explored the airport, they got up close and personal with the fascinating world of air travel, watching in awe as planes landed and took off with precision. The experience was both eye-opening and inspiring, sparking a newfound interest in aviation among the young brigade members.

That's commendable 👏

At the just concluded 63rd National Council Meeting of The Boys' Brigade, Nigeria, three troupies were donated by Mr. Monday Okoye of 11th Aba Company who through the impact The Boys' Brigade has done in his life led him to remember the organization.

He donated these troupies in memory of his late Captain Chief Igwe, who was instrumental in nurturing him in The Boys' Brigade, that led him currently working in the United State of America.

In his absence, due to his working engagement at the United State of America, his Company and the son of his late Captain Mr. Solomon Igwe on his behalf presented the three troupies to the National Council of The Boys' Brigade, Nigeria.

The three troupies donated were presented to the winners of the National Bible Study Competition for the Junior Section Category.

Plateau State Council and Gombe State Council have taken the first position in the National Bible Study Competition which took place at the side line of the 63rd National Council Meeting of The Boys' Brigade, Nigeria.

The results are as follows;

Junior Section Category
1st Position - Plateau State Council (60 Marks)
2nd Position - FCT Council (50 Marks)
3rd Position - Adamawa State Council (40 Marks)

Company/Senior Section Category
1st Position - Gombe State Council (60 Marks)
2nd Position - Benue State Council (50 Marks)
3rd Position - Bauchi State Council (42½ Marks)

Meet the reelected National President, BBN Prof Engr. Samson Duna;

Prof Engr. Samson Duna hails from Biliri Local Government Area of Gombe State, North East, Nigeria.

As a field Officer he served as Captain of 19th Bauchi Company.

He also served as President of Bauchi State Council and National Vice President North East Zone of The Boys' Brigade, Nigeria.

Prof. Engr. Samson Duna is currently serving the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the Director General Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute, a Federal Government Parastatal under the Ministry of Science and Technology.

He was first elected as the 8th President of The Boys' Brigade, Nigeria during the 60th National Council Meeting/Election which took place at ECWA Gospel Kagadama Bauchi on 27th August, 2022 together with other National Office Bearers.
