RCCN ZION CONVENTION 2026 – FINAL DAY REPORT

The 2026 RCCN Zion Convention came to a close with a powerful message delivered by the President of the Reformed Church of Christ for Nations (RCCN), Rev. Bulus Yerima.

Speaking on the topic “You Are an Ambassador of Christ,” with references from John 17:15, 2 Corinthians 5:20, and 2 Corinthians 6:1, the RCCN President reminded believers of their responsibility as representatives of Christ on earth.

In his message, Rev. Yerima explained that an ambassador is an authorized representative or messenger sent on a special assignment on behalf of a nation. In the same way, Christians are appointed by Christ to represent Him in the world.

Referring to John 17:15, he emphasized that Jesus prayed to the Father not to take believers out of the world, because they have a mission to accomplish as His ambassadors on earth. He therefore encouraged the congregation to go back after the convention and represent Christ faithfully in their ministries, businesses, offices, and every area of their daily lives.

He further reminded the church of the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19–20, urging believers to preach the gospel and bring unbelievers to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Christians were also cautioned not to become obstacles to others who desire to follow Christ.
In conclusion, Rev. Bulus Yerima urged the congregation to remain obedient to the doctrine of God so that the grace they have received will not be in vain.

The message marked a fitting conclusion to the RCCN Zion Convention 2026, leaving participants challenged and inspired to live as true ambassadors of Christ in the world.

RCCN ZION CONVENTION 2026 – DAY 3 EVENING SESSION

Rev. Dr. Ande Musa delivered a powerful message titled “Be Mindful of the Three Gates as You Are in the World but Not of the World,” drawing his text from John 17:15–16 and 1 John 2:15–16.

In his teaching, the preacher described Jesus’ words in John 17:15 as the Priestly Prayer, where Christ prayed that believers should remain in the world but be protected from evil. He explained that gates serve as entry points, and spiritually there are three major gates the devil uses to attack believers.

He identified these gates as:
The Lust of the Flesh (Galatians 5:16–21)
The Lust of the Eyes (Job 31:1; 1 John 2:15–16)
The Pride of Life (Proverbs 16:18)
Rev. Dr. Musa emphasized that when the flesh is not subjected to the Word of God, it exposes believers to satanic attacks and weakens their spiritual gifts. He warned Christians to guard their hearts and avoid compromising God’s standards because of what they see in the world.

In conclusion, he reassured believers that God will continue to protect His people from the evil one, just as Jesus prayed. He also declared a prophetic prayer that no power will stop God’s people from participating in the 2027 Zion Convention, in Jesus’ name.

RCCN ZION CONVENTION 2026
DAY TWO REPORT – BIBLE STUDY SESSION

The second day of the ongoing RCCN Zion Convention 2026 featured an impactful Bible Study session facilitated by Rev. Rimamshong Yerima, centered on the topic “In the World, But Not of the World.”

The study drew its foundation from John 17:14, Romans 12:2, 1 John 2:15–17, James 4:4, and Philippians 3:20, with the objective of helping believers understand how to live in the world without conforming to its values.

The memory verse, taken from Romans 12:2, encouraged believers not to conform to the pattern of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds so that they may discern God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will.
In his introduction, Rev. Rimamshong Yerima explained that Jesus Christ, knowing that His followers would face pressure to blend in with worldly systems, prayed for His disciples in John 17:14–16. He emphasized the divine truth that believers live in the world but do not belong to it, reminding participants that while our feet walk on earth, our hearts are anchored in heaven.

During the interactive session, participants reflected on several key discussion points, including:
The meaning of the word “world” as used by Jesus in His prayer, highlighting both the sinful system opposed to God and the world as humanity loved by God.

Worldly values believers must avoid, such as greed, pride, immorality, and the pursuit of material wealth above God.

Practical ways believers can live in the world without being contaminated by it, through renewed minds, Christ-like attitudes, prayer, guarding the heart, studying God’s Word, and putting on the full armor of God.

How Christians can maintain holy living in today’s digital age, especially as social media and modern media platforms promote values contrary to biblical teachings.

In conclusion, the facilitator reminded participants that Jesus never prayed for believers to escape the world but to overcome it. Christians are therefore ca

RCCN ZION CONVENTION 2026
DAY ONE REPORT – OPENING CHARGE

The Reformed Church of Christ for Nations (RCCN) Zion Convention commenced with a powerful Opening Charge delivered by the RCCN President, Rev. Bulus Yerima, who spoke on the theme “In the World, but Not of the World” with the sub-theme “Chosen Out of the World.”
Drawing his message from John 17:16 and John 15:19, Rev. Yerima emphasized Jesus Christ’s instruction to His disciples, reminding believers that although they live and function in the world, they are not meant to conform to the world’s system and values.

In his introduction, the RCCN President explained that believers actively participate in different spheres of life such as education, economic activities, politics, and social engagements, yet they are expected to maintain a distinct Christian identity that reflects God’s standards.

Highlighting key points from the message, Rev. Yerima encouraged Christians to take pride in the fact that they are chosen out of the world by God. He urged believers to embrace repentance as the proper response to sin, rather than adopting the worldly attitude of covering up wrongdoing.

He further noted that Christianity continues to face severe persecution in many parts of the world, largely because believers refuse to conform to the values and practices of the world.

In conclusion, Rev. Yerima challenged participants to examine their lives carefully, asking whether they truly live in the world without being influenced by it, as Christ expects from His followers.

The message set a strong spiritual foundation for the convention, calling believers to holy living, genuine repentance, and unwavering commitment to Christ despite the pressures of the world.
