I WEEP FOR THE CHURCH TODAY.šŸ„²šŸ˜­

In the church today, there are people who need help.
Both spiritual help and physical help.
There are people in serious trouble. People who are stranded and have nowhere to go. They truly need help.

In the early church, we did not see this.
Acts 2:44-45 ā€“ _ā€œThey had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.ā€_
There was spiritual help and physical help.

But today in the church, all you see is people trying to show their qualifications and big grammar.
Everyone depends only on their own understanding.
That is why many ministers do not welcome the gifts of the Spirit.
And wickedness is getting worse in the church.

No help. Only bitterness.
Everyone wants to show that his theology is the best.
Everyone thinks he is the best and wants to be the best.
Competition everywhere.

But God already gave us the solution in the church.
He gave us gifts ā€” both natural and spiritual gifts.

Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, Ephesians 4:11
Some were given the gift of mercy.
Some the gift of giving.
Some wisdom.
Some service.
Some knowledge.
Some healing.
Some signs and wonders.
Some deliverance.
Some to be pastors and teachers.
Some prophets.
Some prophecy.
Some apostles.
Some evangelists.
Some to help.

All these gifts are for the church.
If the church, the ministers, and the members will humble themselves and allow God to work through these gifts, we will not have these problems.

But the funny thing is, the problems are getting worse.
Instead of understanding this, we are busy attacking each other.

Why did God give us gifts?
1. To honor His name
2. To help and bless lives

Another problem:
Mr. A has not paid the price for God to work through his gift.
But Mr. B has paid the price and is walking in his spiritual and natural gift.
So Mr. A will now try to make people believe that Mr. B is wrong or fake.
That is jealousy.

Many are the problems of the church today.
Some of us are ministers. Some are members.
If you donā€™t want to help, please allow those who are called to help to do their work.
Some people have the gift of giving. They are ready to give and help.
But because of useless jealousy, you try to stop them.
You make them feel like they are doing ā€œtoo much.ā€

The church needs help.
If you cannot help, please keep quiet.

Donā€™t silence people because they are growing.
Donā€™t hate them because they are becoming popular.
Donā€™t look down on them because they look ā€œlocal.ā€

The more you fight them, the more God will lift them.
Because when you fight Godā€™s anointed, you are fighting God.

Just be yourself. Celebrate others.
Your time to be celebrated will also come.
Trust God, not your wisdom. God never fails.

Sometimes the devil will threaten you just to make you keep quiet.
Even when you are supposed to come out and say the truth, and speak what needs to be said, fear will try to silence you.
Sometimes people even give up because they are afraid of losing their job.

I keep asking myself: Why are we living?
Is there any goal or purpose greater than seeking the Truth, who is Jesus?

The Bible says in Matthew 16:25:
_ā€œFor whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.ā€_
So take up your cross and follow Jesus.

Donā€™t be afraid. Even when the devil threatens to terminate your appointment, donā€™t be afraid, because only God has the final say.

When Jesus was crucified, the devil thought that was the end of Him.
He didnā€™t know that was actually the beginning of Jesusā€™ promotion, and the beginning of salvation and success for mankind.

So let us always stand for the truth without fear.

In this life, there will always be people who think they are the best. Even when you are doing the right thing, they will criticize you just because you are the one doing it. They will say you are wrong. People like that are wicked, and they will not find things easy in whatever they do.

Sometimes, when something good is done around them, they think it is because of their own power. With their foolish minds, they will confidently say, "I was the one who did it. It happened through me." They forget that it is God who is doing it through them. God can decide to use anyone to glorify Himself.

Sometimes, because they are spiritually blind, they will think they are the only ones who went to good schools and the only ones qualified for a certain job. But God can use anyone.

The good thing about God is that He can use anyone He chooses, as long as you are ready and you give yourself to Him. He is also ready. God is not looking at your grammar or your qualifications. He is looking at your spiritual maturity and your walk with Him. And if you have the extra oil, like the five wise virgins in the Bible.

STOP FIGHTING GODā€™S GIFTS šŸ™
One of the silent reasons many of our churches are struggling today is this:
WE DON'T CELEBRATE EACH OTHER'S GIFTS.
God, in His wisdom, did not give everyone the same gift.
To some He gave the gift of giving.
To others, the gift of teaching.
To others, healing, deliverance, mercy, wisdom, administration, service, counsel, preaching.
1 Corinthians 12:7_

EVERY GIFT HAS ONE PURPOSE: To build the church and to honor God.

BUT WHAT DO WE SEE TODAY?
Instead of celebrating, we envy.
Instead of clapping, we criticize.
Instead of supporting, we compete.
We see someone shining and we ask, ā€œIs he trying to take the glory?ā€
We see someone being used and we say, _ā€œShe thinks sheā€™s better than us.ā€

CAN I TELL YOU SOMETHING?
The glory was never meant for man. _The glory belongs to God alone._ - Isaiah 42:8
When one member is lifted, the whole body should rejoice.
Dear brother, dear sister:
If someone is doing better than you, donā€™t fight them. Celebrate them.
If someone is operating in a higher grace, donā€™t compare. Learn from them.
Your grace is different. Your calling is different. Your season is different.
God does not bless everyone the same way, and thatā€™s okay. He knows what Heā€™s doing.

The church is not a competition ground. Itā€™s a family.
And in a family, when one child succeeds, everyone claps.

Appreciate the gift God placed in you.
Appreciate the gift God placed in others.
Stop pulling down. Start building up.
Stop envying. Start encouraging.

His words are not just stories. He was speaking the truth, and we saw it with our own eyes last night at ECWA 4 MAYO-GUWAI, Jalingo during the ECWA Jalingo 2 LCC Prayer Vigil. Jesus did it again!

To God be the glory for the success of the Jalingo 2 LCC Prayer Vigil.

MY APPRECIATION:
- Thank you, our Father, Rev. GODIYA P. SIMON, ECWA Taraba DCC Assistant Secretary. Thank you for opening our eyes more on the power of prayer, indeed it was just wonderful.
- Thank you, our Father, Rev. WAZIRI MODIBO, the acting L.O of Jalingo 2 LCC, for your constant support. We love you, sir.
- Thank you, our Father, the LCC Secretary, Rev. EPHRAIM JIJINGI, for always being there for us, sir.

Today's Jalingo 2 LCC Prayer Vigil will be powerful, by the grace of God.

Our Men of God are ready.
We will receive blessings from:
- Our spiritual fathers from Jalingo 2 LCC even from the DCC too.
- Our brethren from the LYC Prayer Unit
- And our guest music ministers who are set to bless lives

Tonight, two of our fathers will also share powerful, inspiring messages from God.

We are ready, because there will be:
Healings, Deliverance, Breakthrough, Powerful Worship, Powerful Messages, Dance, Testimonies, and so much more.
