Reversal of Ban on Homage: setting the records straight

Sometimes when people twist facts to suit certain imaginations or wishes it is laughable. To say that reversal of ban on homage to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, during festivities was done "ahead of the 2023 election" is not only untrue but recklessness on the part of professionalism, where due diligence and recourse to facts is expected.
In order not to join words but help our innocent media followers and lovers of the Governor realize that some are bent on denting any good move, I will here refer everyone to The Nation newspaper of May 23, 2020 which said, "Fintiri issued the no-homage directive against the background of 27 COVID-19 cases in Adamawa State, out of which one person has died and 13 people have been treated and discharged."
With this fact, there will be no further arguments but rather an advise to politicians to use the information at their disposal, so as to avoid disgracing themselves in the bid to attack a Governor that is quietly serving his people and sincerely working to bring true democracy to Adamawa State.
What was done in good fate has been reversed in good fate. It is on record that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has in these few years proven to be most accessible governor that Adamawa state ever had. A pace setter and the people's Governor is doing the best he can to set Adamawa State on an unprecedented and enviable height that generations to come will be proud of.
Instead of looking for faults, let the people of Adamawa rally round this man so that when posterity comes, we all will be counted as those who stood on the side of good.
