FULFILLING A GODLY MANDATE: A PROMISE KEPT

OUR STORY
The leader of the "Godly" mandate movement, Hon. Esv. Esther Simi Dusu, was administered an oath as a member of the 9th assembly on the 10th day of June, 2019. Exactly 2 years, 8 months and 18 day from today. The journey has had its fair share of the turbulent and muddy political waters, but to the glory of God, our leader has been on her toes networking on delivering quality representation to her constituents. Within the period under review, the following modest achievements were recorded:

1. Renovation/rehabilition of primary health clinic at Garba Daho ward.

2. Renovation of primary health clinic at Vandapuye ward.

3. Renovation/rehabilitation of primary health clinic at Sarkin Arab ward.

4. Completion of primary health clinic at Kabong ward.

5. Renovation of Police station at Gada buy Kabong ward.

6. Purchase of a brand new Transformer for D**g village, Tudun Wada.

7. Intervention for the construction of a pedestrian bridge at Tudun Wada.

8. Rehabilitation of borehole at angwan yashi Tudun Wada.

9. Intervention for the construction of Box culvert at Utan Kabong.

10. Lobbied for:
a) Construction of two class room block at RCM Kabong.
b) Construction of two class block at G.S. S Gangare... Through late Hon. Maitala
c) Rehabilition of Jenta Adamu road network.

11. Youth and women empowerment:
a. Distribution of ten sewing machines
b. Distribution of ten grinding machines
c. Distribution of ten hair dryers
d. Distribution of 52 barbing clippers
e. Cash support to indigent people
f. Widows support

12. Intervention for road rehabilition at angwan hilltop Kabong.

13. Purchase of land for the building of a model primary school at Jenta Mangoro.

14. Intervention for the construction of box culvert at Jenta Mangoro.

15. Covid- 19 rapid response and intervention to schools ahead of reopening.

16. Distributed food palliative to constituents to ease the effect of the corona- virus pandemic.

17. Distributed hand sanitizers, face mask, hand bills to help in curbing the spraid of the virus.

18. Cash support to the vigilante group of Nigeria.

19. Cash and food support to people with special needs.

20. Cash support to traders affected by fire disaster at Garba Daho ward.

21. Jamb scholarship to over 70 students.

22. Empowerment of over 2000 women through skills acquisition at Gangare ward.

23. Secured employment for some youths at the Plateau State House of Assembly.

24. Facitated the employment of 15 youths at IBBI.

25. Support to football teams across the constituency.

26. Engaged 17 young men and women as aides.

27. Payment of school fees to some indigent members of her constituency.... More details coming soon.

BIRTHDAY FELICITATION TO THE ARCHITECT OF A MODERN PLATEAU, DA SEN. DR. JONAH DAVID JANG, FORMER GOVERNOR OF PLATEAU STATE

Today I celebrate a father, mentor, and an advisor as he turns 78 years to the glory of God. Dara, you have developed the four corners of the boundaries of Plateau State and made life much easier for the ones you governed. In fact, you deserve a holiday in your name for the many sacrifices you made for the enthronement of democracy in Nigeria and changing the landscape of Plateau through your many critical infrastructures across the state.

Dara, leaders like you deserves a life of prosperity, longevity, wealth and good health. On this special day, I wish you all of those goodies.

HON. DUSU CELEBRATES WOMEN FOR THE 2022 WORLD WOMEN'S DAY!

Today is one of the most important days of the year to celebrate women's achievements, raise awareness about women's equality, lobby for accelerated gender parity. And as the only woman in the house of Assembly, I have been working hard to see women representation striving ahead.

I want you to know that the International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality, and this is very commendable.

"BreakTheBias" is the theme for 2022 International Women's day, Whether it is deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead in their careers and even personal lives. Only knowing that bias exists isn't enough. Rather, action is needed to level the playing field.

There is nothing impossible in this world for a woman because she is born with the dedication to make everything possible. Happy International Women’s Day.

HON. AGAH'S VICTORY CELEBRATED BY HON. DUSU AT HER RESIDENT IN JOS.

Member elect, Hon. Musa Agah for the just concluded Bassa/Jos North bye election was today hosted by hon. Esther Simi Dusu over his victory at polls.

Hon. Simi Dusu thanked the PDP family for the massive support and promised the people to expect more from the party. She wish the member elect success in all his endeavour's, promising to do her best to support him to fulfill his campaign promises.

Hon. Musa Agah in response promised to do his best for the people of Jos/Bassa federal constituency as it is a mandate fullfil by God. He thanked the Hon. Member (Dusu) for such a wonderful gesture, and promised to carry everyone along for the betterment of his constituency.
