Dear my good loving Constituents of Mikang, Qua'an-Pan and Shendam Federal Constituency, may I use this medium to express my heartfelt appreciation to all of you for your unwavering love and support, showered on me during and after our APC Primaries which held on Friday, 27th of May 2022 in Shendam LGA.
Even though the exercise has been a challenging and frustrating one, yet amazing, because we stood so firm and believe in our principles and ideologies without compromising any. To me, this is a great feat that I'm highly proud of.
I am highly delighted and excited to some of you who stood by your words and voted me, amidst intimidation and other forms of harassment from external forces. To those 59 Party Delegates out of the total 160 who gave me their votes, truthfully I can't thank you enough for the trust and confidence which you've all reposed on me.
Most importantly again, I am also grateful to all our patriotic men and women, young and old Members of this great Constituency who were with us from day time to midnight to witness this processes. I am most eternally grateful.
To my Colleague in the contest who was earlier declared winner for the APC House of Reps primary election to represent Mikang, Qua'an-Pan and Shendam Federal Constituency comes 2023, Hon. John Dafa'an, I say a very good congratulation to you and your entire team.
As one of the founding Members of the APC in Shendam LGA and Plateau state, this is my home and I have no where to go. I accept the outcome of this contest with good faith. If you could remember, I defeated some People in 2019 to clinch the party's ticket, I see nothing wrong if I am defeated today. Beside, this is the beauty of democracy. You win today, you loose tomorrow.
I have done my best to this party and to our great Constituency. With time, I'll be vindicated.
