Village Story With a Lesson 🌾
When I was in the village, I used to stay with my grandma. And you know village life—hard work every day just to survive. From Monday to Saturday, it was always farm, palm kernel, and carrying loads. It was not easy at all.
One day, after coming back from the farm looking so tired, a man saw me. He looked closely and said, “Wait… is it not you I saw this morning? Your nails are neat, your clothes are neat, and you still look fresh. I love what I see!”
He went on to say that most times, people in the village allow the struggle to show on them—but looking at me, he could hardly believe I was living in the village ewo. 😂
And that day I learned something:
👉 No matter where you are or what you’re going through, don’t let your situation define you.
👉 Even when working hard, keep yourself neat, decent, and confident.
👉 Always try to look better than the environment you’re coming from.
We may not control where we start from, but we can control how we present ourselves. 💯
