This is my entry video for the Prudential Fashion Academyscholarship 2026.

My fashion journey started in 2018 with a small roadside tailor in the village, and since then I have been determined to grow, create and inspire confidence through fashion .

This is more than a scholarship for me. It is the bridge between where I am and the global designer I know I can be. Thank you Prudent Gabriel Okopi for creating this opportunity for designers like me to dream bigger and achieve excellence .

Nature painted the palette I wore the masterpiece

So whilst I was thinking of what to make for my birthday , I stumbled on this hibiscus flower image and it immediately caught my attention and I was determined to make a dress out of it . Another thing I was certain about is that I didn't want this dress to be corseted in any way I wanted to breathe please 😂.

Next stop is fabric sourcing getting this shade of green was a hassle. For the flowers I was sure fabric paint will give me the magenta colouration on the petals I searched and searched I couldn't get fabric paint in Jos , my only bet was to order from Lagos or Abuja, I couldn't risk that because I had limited time to work with luckily I found a magenta cup chain and voila it did the magic .
