Earlier today, I paid a condolence visit to my Chief of Staff, Mustapha Bala Dawaki, and his entire family in Kano, following the painful loss of his beloved mother.
I joined the family and loved ones in prayers for the repose of her soul and asked God to grant them strength and comfort in this moment of grief.
I also used the occasion to visit the Police Private School (PPS) in Dawakin Kudu, a visionary education project solely financed by Hon. Dawaki.
In less than two and a half years, the school has grown to over 700 students, standing tall as a practical investment in our future and a testament to his commitment to human capital development.
As an academic, I commend Hon. Dawaki for his foresight and dedication to education. Sustainable development begins with deliberate investments in knowledge and character, and PPS is clearly shaping Nigeria’s tomorrow leaders. I also applaud the school’s management and staff for their professionalism, discipline, and nurturing learning environment.
The warm reception from residents of Dawakin Kudu and surrounding communities during this visit was humbling and speaks volumes about Hon. Dawaki’s deep grassroots connection.
Together, we must continue to champion community-focused initiatives that empower our youth, strengthen social cohesion, and reinforce the All Progressives Congress’s commitment to people-centered development across our great nation.
