/ : The boy that led the victim whose kidney was removed and who later went to VDM to seek for help has been arrested by the Police.

The interesting part of the story is, the boy's left hand side kidney has also been removed also.

This time around, the act was done with his consent because he sold it out for 7m. Verydarkblackman has also alleged that many young men and women in Abuja are believed to have sold out one of their kidneys.

Poverty is indeed a bastard.

We acknowledge the steps announced by the Plateau State Commissioner of police, DSS, and security agencies, including intensified surveillance and patrols in vulnerable areas, as well as the deployment of additional police personnels to Mangu.

But as citizens, we must also ask an important and legitimate question:

*Are these measures producing the level of security our communities deserve?*

When public resources are committed to security, the people have a right to know how those resources are being translated into protection on the ground.

*We therefore respectfully call for clear answers on:*

1. What additional measures are being implemented to protect vulnerable communities in Mangu?
2. How are security agencies strengthening intelligence and early-warning systems?
3. What resources and personnel have been deployed to areas facing repeated attacks?
4. What progress is being made in identifying and bringing perpetrators to justice, including the soldiers involved in Yilpo?
5. What long-term measures are being put in place to prevent further attacks and reprisal violence?

These questions are not accusations. They are legitimate questions from citizens whose lives and communities are at stake.

The government has a responsibility to protect its people, and citizens have a responsibility to demand transparency and accountability.

*Mangu is grieving. Plateau is hurting.*

We can not allow every attack to become another statistic, followed by another statement of condemnation.

Our people need *prevention, protection, rapid response, justice, and lasting peace.*

We respectfully call on the government and security agencies to do everything within their power to ensure that the people of Mangu and other vulnerable communities can live without fear.

*PLATEAU FIRST.*
*HUMAN LIFE FIRST.*
*SECURITY FIRST.*
