Public Announcement: OVER 5000 UNCLAIMED DRIVERS LICENSES

The Plateau State Internal Revenue Service (PSIRS) is pleased to announce that we have received a backlog of over 5000 unclaimed/outstanding Drivers Licenses from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

All Plateau residents who have been awaiting their Drivers Licenses are hereby kindly requested to visit the Plateau State Internal Revenue Service headquarters at No 6 Bank Road Jos for immediate collection within our working hours of 8am-5pm Mondays to Fridays.

Please ensure that you bring valid identification and any other necessary documents to facilitate a smooth collection process.

Rev. Dr. Dunka Gomwalk Emerges as Plateau State CAN Chairman, Inaugurated for Five-Year Term.

Jos, Plateau State – October 9, 2025.

Rev. Dr. Dunka Gomwalk has been inaugurated as the new Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Plateau State Chapter, following a successful election and swearing-in ceremony held on Thursday at the Usiju World Event Center, Jos.

The event, which drew Christian leaders, clergy, and representatives from across denominations, marked the beginning of a new leadership phase for CAN in Plateau State.

Rev. Dr. Gomwalk, in his acceptance remarks, expressed gratitude to the body for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to serve faithfully in promoting unity, peace, and the collective voice of the Christian community across the state.

Other executive members inaugurated alongside him include Rev. Dr. K. Saleh as Vice Chairman, Pastor Simon Julius Arabo as Secretary, Rev. Fr. Timothy Dabot as Assistant Secretary, and SP (AP) Williams Oresanya as Treasurer.

The new leadership is expected to serve a five-year term, steering the affairs of the Christian body and strengthening interdenominational collaboration for the spiritual and social well-being of Plateau State.
