WHITE DIARRHEA IN POULTRY

White diarrhea, often a symptom of pullorum disease is a serious condition that can cause significant mortality, especially in young birds.

Pullorum disease is a bacteria infection caused by Salmonella enterica.

It can cause high mortality in young chicks and adult birds may show decrease egg production.

*TRANSMISSION

The disease is primarily transmitted from infected parent birds through the egg to the chick. It can also spread horizontally within a flock through contaminated feed, water or environment.

*TREATMENT

Antibiotics treatment, while sometimes used, does not eliminate the carrier state and is generally discouraged. Prevention is key!

That is by practicing proper hygiene, removal of infected birds, biosecurity, rodent and pest control.

Criminality transcends religious boundaries, reminding us to remain vigilant. Recently, a self-proclaimed gospel singer in Abuja allegedly committed a heinous crime, sacrificing a lady for financial gain. Similarly, Abdurahman Mohammed Bello, a purported Islamic scholar in Ilorin, allegedly murdered an innocent girl, Yetunde Lawal. They reportedly met on Facebook, and he invited her to his residence, where he allegedly strangled and dismembered her body for ritual purposes. Who can we truly trust? Let us exercise caution and discernment. Be cautious when interacting with individuals who exploit their religious affiliation for personal gain. Some individuals may present themselves as trustworthy but are actually malicious. May the truth continue to be revealed, guiding us toward wisdom and understanding.

I would like to address the individual who entered my residence through the ceiling this evening,😭😭😭😭😭 despite being aware that I was at work. The individual stole all my belongings, yet inadvertently left their cell phone on the table🥲. I have accessed the individual's Facebook account and identified them. I am providing a 48-hour ultimatum to return all stolen items and repair the ceiling.
