*TOPIC: WEARING YOUR CHRISTIAN VIRTUE[S]*
*COLOSSIANS 3:12-14 [NIV]*
12: Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
13: Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
14: And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
*WEARING YOUR CHRISTIAN VIRTUE[S]*
It is said that clothing has a way of addressing someone either negatively or positively. For the Christians in colosse, they were asked to as God's chosen people to clothe themselves with the Christian virtue.
Virtues like compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, love, and forgiveness.
These virtues indeed make a difference in our relationship with others, especially being mindful that we have been shown these virtues by Christ, who loved us and forgive us all our trenspasses [vs.13].
Note that these virtues should be seen in our daily lives as we relate with others.
*QUESTION:* What Christian virtues are you wearing as you relate with others?
*PRAYER:* Lord, help me to always have my Christian virtues clothe clean as I relate with people daily in Christ's name. Amen.
