*TEXT: REVELATION 14:14-20*
*TOPIC: THE HARVEST OF THE EARTH: ARMAGEDDON*

*REVELATION 14:14-20 [NIV]*

14: I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one “like a son of man” with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.

15: Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”

16: So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

17: Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.

18: Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe.”

19: The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath.

20: They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.

*THE HARVEST OF THE EARTH: ARMAGEDDON*

John sees one on a white cloud, resembling the son of Man, with a crown and a sickle in hand. This imagery often refers to John [Matt.8:20].

The sickle symbolizes harvesting, and Jesus, as the Harvester, is urged to reap the ripe earth.

The wold today appears overripe for harvest, where bad fruits [those who do evil] are separated and judged, while the good are preserved.

Armageddon is where God's wrath will be poured out. The righteous must remain steadfast to escape judgment.

*QUESTION:* Are you preparing for the final harvest of the Earth?

*PRAYER:* Dear Lord, help us resist world pressures to engage in evil, in Jesus' name, Amen.

*TEXT: REVELATION 14:6-13*
*TOPIC: THE THREE ANGELS IN A RESCUE MISSION*

*REVELATION 14:6-13 [NIV]*

6: Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people.

7: He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”

8: A second angel followed and said, “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great, which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”

9: A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand,

10: he, too, will drink of the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.

11: And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.”

12: This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.

13: Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”

“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”

*THE THREE ANGELS IN A RESCUE MISSION*

God's love endures despite human disobedience. Throughput history, He has sent messengers with the unchanging gospel of salvation, as highlighted in verses 6 and 7.

The first angel proclaims, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come," urging worship of the Creatior.

The second angel declares the fall of Babylon, a corrupting influence against Christ.

The third angel warns us of the consequences of rejecting God. God's mission to save souls continues, as Shown in Matthew 28:19-20.

*QUESTION:* What role will you take in the rescue of souls during these end times?

*PRAYER:* Lord, help me be more passionate in sharing the gospel of salvation to those around me in Jesus' name, Amen.

*TEXT: REVELATION 14:1-5*
*TOPIC: THE LAMB ON MOUNT ZION AND THE 144,000*

*REVELATION 14:1-5 [NIV]*

1: Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

2: And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.

3: And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

4: These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb.

5: No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

*THE LAMB ON MOUNT ZION AND THE 144,000*

In today's passage, John sees the Lamb on Mount Zion with the 144,000 Jews sealed from the tribes of Israel.

This seal signifies protection distinct from the mark of the beast [666] on those who worship him.

John hears a heavenly sound like a harpist, leading a song only the redeemed can sing. The Lamp, four living creators and elders from the audience.

To be ready for Christ's return and escape coming wrath, one must leave righteously and follow the Lamp. In a world of tribulation, we should strive not to miss the rapture.

*QUESTION:* Are you making efforts to be ready for a new song like the redeemed?

*PRAYER:* Dear Lord, let not the blood of the Lamp be in Vain upon my life in Jesus' name, Amen.

*TEXT: REVELATION 13:11-18*
*TOPIC: THE BEAST FROM OUT OF THE EARTH*

*REVELATION 13:11-18 (NIV)*

11: Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.

12: He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed.

13: And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men.

14: Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.

15: He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

16: He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead,

17: so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

18: This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.

*THE BEAST FROM OUT OF THE EARTH*

Today's text discusses the beast from the earth, representing the false prophet [16:13;19:20;20:10]. He resembles the first beast, having two lamp-like horns but speaking like a dragon.

He wields the first beast's authority and commands the earth's inhibitants to worship him, leading to the infamous mark of the beast '666', which signifies loyalty to the dragon.

Accepting this mark allows participation in the Anti-Christ's system but excludes one from the kingdom of God [cf.12:13-16]. Both the beast and dragon signify End-Time powers emerging during tribulation.

*QUESTION:* What is holding you back from giving your life to Christ before the evil days arrive?

*PRAYER:* Lord, may I be found in You before the beast takes over the Earth, in Jesus' name, Amen.

*TEXT: REVELATION 13:1-10*
*TOPIC: THE BEAST FROM THE SEA AND IT'S DECEPTIVE MIRACLES*

*REVELATION 13:1-10 [NIV]*

1: And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.
The Beast out of the Sea
And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.

2: The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.

3: One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast.

4: Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?”

5: The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months.

6: He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.

7: He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.

8: All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world.

9: He who has an ear, let him hear.

10: If anyone is to go into captivity,
into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword,
with the sword he will be killed.
This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.

*THE BEAST FROM THE SEA AND IT'S DECEPTIVE MIRACLES*

John describes the beast from the sea as the last evil force rising from troubled water. In verses 1-4, it connects to the Dragon from revelation 12:17.

This beast looks like a lamp but draws its power from the dragon [Satan] to speak against God and perform false miracles.

Many will mistake it for the savior, Jesus, and worship it because "it was allowed to make war against the saints," as noted in verses 5-8. The beast represents a power in the end times that will fight against God's people.

Believers must resist these evils, even if it leads to death, while trusting in God's protection.

*QUESTION:* Who will worship the beast during the tribulation, verse 8?

*PRAYER:* Dear Lord, help me not to serve the beast, but to receive your seal on my forehead, in Jesus' name, Amen.

*TEXT: REVELATION 12:10-17*
*TOPIC: CELEBRATING THE ACCUSER'S REMOVAL FROM HEAVEN*

*REVELATION 12:10-17 [NIV]*

10: Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Christ.
For the accuser of our brothers,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.

11: They overcame him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.

12: Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”

13: When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.

14: The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.

15: Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent.

16: But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.

17: Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

*CELEBRATING THE ACCUSER'S REMOVAL FROM HEAVEN*

Our world is filled with pain and Sorrow caused by Satan and his demons. Bad news is everywhere, and people have grown accustomed to it because they have turned away from God.

Without God, we become closer to the devil. Many leaders are not surprised by the chaos. While they try to fight groups like Boko Haram and kidnappers, they often worsen the situation due to their distance from God's teachings.

Many have been deceived by the devil. It's no wonder that they angels rejoiced when Satan was cast down [vs.10-11], despite the warning, "Woe to the inhabitants of the earth" [vs.10-12].

*QUESTION:* What can you do to stop the dragon's attack on humanity?

*PRAYER:* Lord, please let the fire of soul winning burn in me and help me share the gospel of salvation with everyone I meet, in Jesus' name, Amen.

*TEXT: REVELATION 12:1-9*
*TOPIC: THE WONDER OF A TRAVAILING WOMAN WITH A CHILD AND THE DRAGON*

*REVELATION 12:1-9 [NIV]*

1: A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.

2: She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.

3: Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads.

4: His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.

5: She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

6: The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

7: And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.

8: But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.

9: The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

*THE WONDER OF A TRAVAILING WOMAN WITH A CHILD AND THE DRAGON*

Today's passage is rich with symbolism, exploring the woman, the Dragon, and the child.

Many interpretations exist, but I align with Gary Cohen and salem kirban, who suggest that the woman represents Israel and her child is the Messiah, Christ.

The Dragon, symbolizing Satan, persecutes the Woman, causing her pain in childbirth [vs.3-4].

Verses 6-9 reveal how Satan and his angels were cast down from heaven after a celestial battle, leading to the emergence of demons.

While heaven rejoices [vs.10-12], the earth suffers. Only those who stay close to Jesus, the man-child, will overcome.

*QUESTION:* Are you ready for Jesus' return or for the old serpent and his angels?

*PRAYER:* Lord, help me to be ready for your coming and guide me to follow you always, in Jesus' name, Amen.

15: The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:

“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ,
and he will reign for ever and ever.”

16: And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God,

17: saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.

18: The nations were angry;
and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,
and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your saints and those who reverence your name,
both small and great—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

19: Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm.

*THE SEVENTH ANGEL SOUNDS HIS TRUMPET*

The servant trumpet signals a celebration rather than judgment [vs.15-17].

Voices in heaven declare that the Kingdoms of this world belongs to Christ, prompting worship from the elders [vs.15-16].

The wickedness of men drives them to anger, hastening God's justice [vs.17-19].

*QUESTION:* Can we see the wickedness in human hearts? What should believers pray for?

*PRAYER:* Give me enduring Grace, O Lord, to serve You faithfully in Jesus' name, Amen.

*TEXT: REVELATION 11:1-14*
*TOPIC: THE TWO WITNESSES AND THE SEVENTH ANGEL*

*REVELATION 11:1-14 [NIV]*

1: I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there.

2: But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.

3: And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

4: These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.

5: If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die.

6: These men have power to shut up the sky so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

7: Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them.

8: Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called S***m and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

9: For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial.

10: The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

11: But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.

12: Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

13: At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14: The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.

*THE TWO WITNESSES AND THE SEVENTH ANGEL*

Today's passage reveals two witnesses empowered by God to prophesy during the tribulations, urging repentance and judgment in an evil age [11:1-3].

Despite attempts to harm them, they will be protected until their mission is complete [vs.4-7].

A beast will eventually kill them, leading to a frightening series of events on earth [vs.7-12]. These will be terrible days [vs.13-14].

*QUESTION:* Where do you want to be at such a time?

*PRAYER:* Make me ready at all times, Dear Lord, in Jesus' name, Amen.
