2025 World Red Cross Day was celebrated by members of the NRCS Barkin Ladi Division with a sanitation exercise at the Barkin Ladi local government Secretariat. The backyards of the Secretariat now have new looks and fresh air.

On The Side of Humanity, as the theme of the year, Barkin Ladi NRCS members are more committed to community sanitation and hygiene more than ever. As our pillar 1 activity for 2025, zero tolerance to dirty environment which breeds diseases and cause sickness.

Yesterday March 12, 2025 at Gwol Barkin Ladi LGA, an ACCELERATED Action was taken by the first lady of Barkin Ladi LGA Mrs. Pwajok Elizabeth Steven, to listen to women of Barkin Ladi and have a feel of their concerns.
In commemoration of 2025 International Women's Day there was a symposium organized by the first lady in addressing Sexual and Gender Base Violence (SGBV), especially cases found in Barkin ladi LGA.
Ngo Elizabeth Steven Pwajok gave an open-arm policy to work with women and together drive development amongst the women demographics.
At the symposium were the wives of the Secretary to Barkin Ladi LGC, Dagwom Rwei Barkin Ladi LGA, Commissioner for Environment, all the 20 Councilors Barkin Ladi LGA, and the PDP women leader and, leaders of so many women groups in Barkin ladi LGA like the Women wings of CAN & JNI, NCWS.
