Social critic Martin Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has responded to a court order for his arrest over alleged defamation of gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.

VDM’s Response
In a video statement, VDM accused the judiciary of attempting to silence him, alleging a conspiracy involving corrupt judges and lawyers. He claimed that:

- He is not currently in Nigeria and was unaware of the arrest warrant.
- He has a pending case in the same court, which he has never missed.
- The arrest order is an attempt to suppress his voice.

Legal Battle with Mercy Chinwo
VDM also revealed that another court had issued an injunction preventing him from discussing Mercy Chinwo and Eezee Tee.
