THE JEALOUS SISTER IN-LAW

Grace had always been very protective of her younger brother, Daniel. When Daniel married a kind and hardworking woman named Amara, everyone expected Grace to welcome her into the family. Instead, she became jealous.

Grace constantly criticized Amara, no matter what she did. If Amara cooked, Grace complained the food wasn't good enough. If Amara helped around the house, Grace claimed she was only pretending to be kind. She even spread false rumors to make other relatives dislike her.

Daniel loved both his wife and his sister, so he tried to keep the peace. Amara never argued back. She remained respectful, believing that kindness would eventually speak louder than anger.

One day, Grace became seriously ill while everyone else was away. The first person to rush her to the hospital was Amara. She stayed by Grace's bedside, paid for her medication, and cared for her until she recovered.

Ashamed, Grace realized she had judged Amara unfairly. She apologized with tears in her eyes.

"I spent so much time trying to hurt you," Grace said. "Yet you were the one who saved me."

Amara smiled gently. "Family isn't about holding grudges. It's about choosing love, even when it's difficult."

From that day on, Grace changed her attitude. She treated Amara like a true sister, and peace returned to the family. Daniel was overjoyed to see the two women finally supporting each other.

Moral: Jealousy destroys relationships, but kindness and forgiveness have the power to heal even the deepest wounds.
