You cannot build a life around keeping everyone else comfortable while abandoning yourself. There will come a point when you have to decide whether being liked is more important than being at peace; choose peace. I’ve learned that there’s a very big difference between everything you go through with someone, and everything that someone puts you through, one comes from a place of love, the other does not.
