Growth Journey: The voice that tried to stop me!

The loudest critic I ever faced wasn't another person.

It was my own thoughts, telling me I wasn't ready.

I talk myself out of doing something before anyone else even had the chance to judge me.

Looking back, I realise that fear often sounds like truth.

But I've ceased to let fear dictate my decisions.

Now, I let courage make the decision instead.

"Don't let fear become the author of a story that courage was meant to write."

Growth Journey: When Holding On Keeps You Stuck🙄

What if the very thing you're holding on to... is the reason you're not moving forward?

How many dreams are still on hold because of one disappointing experience?

How many people can't move forward because they're holding on to one opinion...
one mistake... one fear... one relationship...
one business idea... or even one version of themselves?

How many people are still waiting because of one promise someone made years ago?
Sometimes the greatest obstacle in life isn't failure.
👉It's refusing to let go.

Because the moment we refuse to release what no longer serves us... we also stop ourselves from embracing what could move us forward.

That thought made me pause.
Because I realised... I was doing the exact same thing.

For a long time, one unfinished Facebook post would completely occupy my mind.I'd write it... Read it... Edit it... Delete parts of it....Then start all over again.

Days would pass without me posting anything. Not because I had nothing to share. But because I couldn't let go of one post that didn't feel "good enough" to me and I kept holding on to 'I have to fix it'.

The unfinished post stayed in my mind. It occupied my thoughts. It became a barrier. I couldn't move on because I was still trying to fix what I hadn't released. And then it hit me.

I wasn't stuck because I lacked ideas. I was stuck because I refused to let go.

👉And that hit me hard.
👉I realised I had lost days... even weeks... not because I couldn't create, but because I was holding on to something that was keeping me from moving forward.
That was the reality check I needed.

So today, I'm making a different choice.
I'll keep learning. I'll keep improving. But I won't allow one unfinished chapter to stop the rest of my story. Because sometimes the bravest thing we can do isn't holding on...
It's finding the courage to let go and move forward.
Maybe someone else needed this reminder today.
