Let’s talk about the beauty of AI small.😅
So, I just recently made combat pants for a client that’s out of state. Normally, the process is simple, client sends a sample or inspiration picture during consultation, we discuss fabric options, take measurements, and get to work.
But this time? AI entered the chat. 😭🔥
The client wanted bespoke Ankara combat pants with a fusion of Adire details on the pockets, mixed with plain fabric. Now usually, with custom pieces like this, a lot is left to imagination especially when the client isn’t physically present.
Questions like:
“Will the fabrics blend well?”
“Will the colours work together?”
“Will it actually look as good as it sounds?”
And you know men 😅 most times they lean toward darker shades and safer options.
So instead of just explaining with words, I used AI to generate visual mockups of what the combat pants would actually look like using different fabric combinations based on his exact brief.
And honestly? Game changer.
The client could SEE the vision instantly instead of trying to imagine it in his head. It became easier for him to make decisions, compare options, and even confidently choose a more colourful design he normally wouldn’t have gone for, simply because he saw how good it looked beforehand.
This right here is why I keep saying:
If you’re a small business owner in 2026, you should be leveraging every advantage AI is giving us.
AI is not here to replace creativity.
It’s helping us communicate creativity better.
And prompt engineering? Whew. One of the best tools to bridge imagination and reality right now.
