Kenny Okulogbo the media consultant to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, described the allegations of sexual harassment leveled against his principal by Senator Natasha Akpoti, as โ€˜โ€™tissues of liesโ€™โ€™.

In a chat with Punch, Okulogbo stated that the Kogi lawmaker is angry and made the allegations because she was removed as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Content.

โ€œAll that Senator Natasha said are all tissues of lies. She is just angry because she was removed as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Content. The Senate President will respond. We will make an official statement soon.โ€

Earlier today, the Senator representing Kogi Central was on Arise TV where she accused the Senate President of sexual harassment and blocking her motions from being heard on the floor of the Senate because she rejected his advances.

Looking at this guy, and what he is doing, what do you think?

It reminds me of a band leader then, he can sing and dance, that you you conclude he has powerfully the Spirit of God in him that moves. Even if you don't want to dance, because of his charisma and how he meanders through songs, you will start dancing unknowingly.

Donโ€™t Spend Time With Negative People

Often the case is that even if you fight your inner demons and decide to do something good, the people around you mess your mind. Iโ€™ve seen people at the age of 30+ wanting to take a big step like switching their career or moving abroad from studies. But not many move forward because the people around them, friends and family, scare them with negative statements.

Comments like โ€œSwitching at this stage is a bad decision,โ€ or โ€œspending such money on a masterโ€™s degree at thirty is a dumb ideaโ€ kill hope. The courage it took to see a dream vanishes quickly when people you spend time scare or ridicule you. And by ridicule, I donโ€™t mean criticism. There are people who will be honest and give you feedback that you may not like. But thatโ€™s to help you improve and proceed, and not to discourage you from trying.

The best solution to this problem of epidemic proportions is to cut ties with negative people. Stop seeing them, or at least cut down on the time you spend with them. Donโ€™t share your ideas or dreams with them. Allocate more time to people who truly care for you and motivate you to prosper and progress. If you find people keep you up on your heels intolerable, thatโ€™s because you havenโ€™t seen true support yet in life. Get used to these positive influencers in your life, and eliminate whoever kills your confidence.
