**Never let anyone hold you back—and that includes yourself!**
Are you acting like a **crab in a bucket?** Let’s break down **Crab Mentality**:
Crab mentality refers to a pattern of behavior observed in crabs. Put a single crab in a bucket, and it will try to escape. But add more crabs, and they’ll pull back any crab that tries to climb out. In humans, this behavior is all too real, and far more damaging.
People with this mindset think, "If I can't have it, neither can you."
They undermine others’ efforts, often subtly, out of fear of someone becoming more successful than them.
In **network marketing**, this "crab mentality" is rampant. How many times have you seen **"Comparitis"**?
People compare themselves to others, thinking someone else’s success equals their own failure. But the **comparison game** is a dangerous trap that leads to nothing good.
It doesn’t stop in the workplace—it exists with **friends and family** too.
Some people simply don’t want you to succeed because it highlights their own lack of progress. Others may genuinely be concerned for you, but their fears still hold you back.
Think about it: A friend who says "no" to your network marketing opportunity may feel validated if you don’t succeed. But if you do, they feel like they failed. It’s subtle, but powerful.
Remember this: **Put on your oxygen mask first.**
If you can’t breathe, you can’t help others. Your success isn’t a betrayal of anyone, and you should never feel guilty for achieving your dreams.
People who really care about you will **encourage** you to chase your potential. If someone is consistently negative or manipulative, they don’t have your best interests at heart.
There are countless success stories of people who were told they’d never make it—and then did. Don’t waste your potential by letting others hold you back.
