🇳🇬 NAF AIR OPERATIONS KEEP TERRORISTS ON THE RUN IN NIGER STATE

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) continues to sustain pressure on terrorist elements operating across Niger State, with intelligence-led air operations helping to disrupt their movements and activities.

Recent missions around Maburya, Sangeko, Kampani Bobi and adjoining areas of Mariga Local Government Area involved sustained armed reconnaissance and surveillance conducted in coordination with ground forces.

During the operations, NAF aircraft detected terrorist elements moving on motorcycles and with rustled cattle. The terrorists were observed attempting to flee and seek cover before being engaged from the air, disrupting their activities and freedom of movement.

The operations highlight the growing importance of persistent surveillance, timely intelligence and close air-ground coordination in tackling terrorism and other security threats.

For communities affected by insecurity, the message remains clear: the watch is active and the pressure is sustained. NAF personnel continue to operate day and night in support of ground forces to protect lives, safeguard communities and create a safer environment for economic activities to thrive.
