Earlier today, I represented our leader, Governor Uba Sani, as his SSA New Media at the APC Media Summit organised by the media team of Dr. Abdulmuminu Aminu Zaria, the Executive Director of the Nigeria Integrated Water Resources Management Commission. The event was well attended, with Dr. Aminu Zaria and other senior government officials present. During the summit, there were paper presentations, entertainment and strong endorsement for Senator Uba Sani re-election for a second term.

On behalf of Governor Senator Uba Sani I expressed our gratitude to Dr. Aminu Zaria and his media team for their unwavering support in promoting and highlighting the programs, policies, and projects of His Excellency Senator Uba Sani.

Kaduna State Ministry of Health Hosts Strategic Meeting on 2025 Annual Operational Plan (AOP)

The Kaduna State Ministry of Health has once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening health systems through effective planning and coordination.

Speaking on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Hajiya Umma K. Ahmed, the Permanent Secretary Dr Aisha Abubakar Sadiq reiterated that effective planning remains a cardinal tool for the successful implementation of organizational goals and programmes.

This was emphasized at the opening of a 3-day Top Management Meeting in Abuja, aimed at finalizing and approving the 2025 Annual Operational Plan (AOP). The AOP, once approved, will serve as a comprehensive roadmap of activities for 2026, ensuring accountability, alignment with strategic objectives, and improved health outcomes for the people of Kaduna State.

The high-level meeting brought together Directors, Heads of Health Agencies and senior staff of the Ministry, alongside Development partners, all working collaboratively to strengthen health service delivery in the state.

With this strategic step, the Ministry continues to prioritize evidence-based planning, transparency, and partnerships to deliver quality healthcare for all.

The National Population Commission's sensitization tour continues in Kaduna State. The Honorable Federal Commissioner, Hajiya Sa'adatu Garba Dogonbauchi, led the management team to Lere LGA
While on the visit, the Commissioner appreciated the continuous support of the people's Governor, Senator Uba Sani in ensuring the sensitization tour is a success. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of creating awareness and the need to Participate in the census exercise and also some of the methodologies that will be used in carrying out a digital Census when it is time. She also asked Religious leaders and traditional rulers to disseminate census information to their communities
She also emphasied on the Registering births and civil registration (ECRVS) for children. Encouraging women to get their children registered for the benefits attached to the process. The Chairman, Traditional Rulers and religious leaders pledged full support to the commission. In a goodwill message, Hakimi Lere, Baban Waziri appreciated the Hon. Federal Commissioner and pledge his alligence to sensitize his community on the need to support the upcoming census and ECRVS ongoing in the state. He also used the medium to plead with the HFC to appeal to the People's Governor Sanator Uba Sani to look into the repairs and reconstruction of the Pambegua - Saminaka road that has become a nightmare for the community and motorists on transit. The Chairman of Lere LGA Hon. Jafaru Ahmed Saminaka also assured collaboration with the commission to ensure full participation by the great people of Lere LGA.

The commission's efforts aim to engage local leaders and stakeholders in the census process, promoting awareness and participation among residents.
