As we getting ready for the Benue creative summit and MACA International Film Festival 2025, meet member board of jurors from India:

Atul Balaji Marewad is a multifaceted personality from Maharashtra, India, currently based in Pune. As an accomplished writer, academician, screenwriter, film critic, and professor, Marewad has made significant contributions to the literary and cinematic worlds.

Holding a Bachelor's degree from Rajaram College, Kolhapur, and a Master's degree from Ferguson College, Marewad serves as a Professor of Literature and is the CEO of Vivek Chitra Production House. His scholarly research focuses on world cinema and literature, and his insightful film critiques have established him as a knowledgeable voice in the industry.

Beyond academia, Marewad plays a pivotal role as the Asia and Middle East Regional Coordinator for the Accra International Book Festival, promoting global literary talents. He is deeply passionate about the future of cinema and literature and is currently pursuing a PhD in the field. Simultaneously, he is working on his debut novel and feature film.

As a respected figure in the film industry, Marewad has served as a jury member for several international film festivals, including:

VALENTINE NIGHT OUT: A Celebration of Love and Entertainment

The founder of the Kaduna International Film Festival hosted a spectacular Valentine Night Out event, which brought together prominent figures in the entertainment industry. The evening was filled with music, dance, and appreciation for the tireless efforts of Her Excellency Amb Prof Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq, First Lady of Kwara State, Nigeria, and Chairperson of the Nigeria Governors' Spouse Forum.

Amb Nyam Terkimbi Terry, the host for the evening, took a moment to express gratitude to Her Excellency for her unwavering support of the entertainment industry. "We are honored to have Her Excellency's backing, which has been instrumental in promoting the arts and culture in Nigeria," Amb Terry said.

Successful Movie Screening of "Kaka and The Major" at the Korean Cultural Centre
Abuja, Nigeria - Ambassador Nyam Terkimbi Terry, CEO of Gafiligadoki Communication, G-Films Academy, and the Executive Director of the Benue Creative Summit and MACA International Film Festival, hosted a successful movie screening of "Kaka and The Major" at the Korean Cultural Centre.

The event, organized by the Kaduna International Film Festival in partnership with the Korean Embassy, attracted a large crowd of dignitaries, including Fegho Umununbo, Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Digital Creative Economy, and distinguished Senator Shehu Sani.

Esteemed ambassadors, including Miriam Morales Palmero, the Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, and Mr. Mersole J. Mellojor, the Philippines Ambassador to Nigeria, also graced the occasion.
