Black Sherif has revealed that he deliberately avoids making songs about women or s*x, choosing instead to focus on meaningful messages that reflect real-life experiences.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the “Where Dem Boys” hitmaker explained that his music aims to connect deeply with people by addressing struggles, sacrifices, dreams, and victories.

“I don’t write songs about women or s*x because I have more important things to say. My goal is to connect with people through messages they can relate to—real-life struggles, sacrifices, dreams and victories. I believe that’s the kind of music that stands the test of time,” he stated.

According to the award-winning artiste, his creative process is rooted in intention and purpose rather than chasing clout or fleeting popularity.

“When I sit down to write, I’m deliberate about the messages I want to convey. I don’t compromise my artistic integrity for temporary fame,” he added.

Black Sherif emphasized that this approach is what motivates him to keep pushing boundaries and staying true to his craft.
