LERE LGA FLAGS OFF INTEGRATED MEASLES & RUBELLA VACCINATION CAMPAIGN.

Today, I had the honor of representing my principal, Hon. Jafaru Ahmed, Executive Chairman of Lere LGA, to flag off the Integrated Measles and Rubella Vaccination Campaign at Tudun Fulani – Lazuru Ward.
The campaign targets children 0–14 years, bringing together key health interventions, Routine Immunization, Measles-Rubella, Polio, and HPV vaccines for girls aged nine.

I reaffirmed our firm commitment to protecting every child in Lere from preventable diseases and urged parents and caregivers: one simple act of taking your child for vaccination today can secure their tomorrow.
Representatives from UNICEF and World Health Organization (WHO) joined traditional rulers, religious leaders, and health workers, all united for a healthier generation.

Special thanks to our dynamic Governor, Senator Uba Sani, development partners, and community leaders for their unwavering support. Together, we’ll ensure no child in Lere is left behind!

2025 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD.

Theme: “The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead: Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis.”

In the heart of our communities, where many girls wake before dawn to fetch water, help at home, and still dream of sitting in a classroom, we came together to celebrate her: the girl child.
She is not just a daughter; she is a leader in the making. She faces barriers of poverty, silence, and expectation, yet she rises, learns, and dares to dream.

Last Thursday, 09th October, I led some of my colleagues and friends to mark the 2025 International Day of the Girl Child. We held the celebration at Government Secondary School, Lere (Lere West) and Girls’ College of the Beatitudes, Saminaka (Lere East), where hundreds of young girls gathered with hope in their eyes and courage in their hearts.
From inspiring talks on menstrual health, hygiene, and self-worth, to the distribution of free sanitary pads and food items, the message was clear: every girl deserves dignity, education, and opportunity.

As a Local Government, we reaffirm our commitment to creating a future where no girl is left behind, where every girl can learn, lead, and lift others.

I deeply appreciate His Excellency Senator Uba Sani the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, whose vision for girl-child education and women’s empowerment continues to inspire progress in every corner of our state and to my Boss Hon. Jafaru Ahmed, the Executive Chairman of Lere for his support and guidance.
To all individuals and groups who supported me during the celebration of this great day, I said thank you and may God bless you all.

Today, I stand with every girl of Lere LGA and beyond to say:

You are not forgotten.
You are the change we need.
You are the light of tomorrow.

Happy International day of the Girl Child.

Vice Chairman Lere LGA.

CELEBRATING THE PILLARS OF KNOWLEDGE & HOPE.

Today, we celebrate the men and women who light the path of wisdom . They are the unsung heroes shaping destinies, molding characters, and building the very foundation upon which every society stands.
As we mark this year’s World Teachers’ Day, I join millions across the world in saluting our Teachers at all levels, from the classrooms in our rural communities to the lecture halls of our higher institutions, for their tireless commitment to raising generations of responsible citizens.

I specially congratulate Mr. Andimayoh Shadari of LGEA Gure II, who emerged as the Best Teacher of Lere Local Government Area at the maiden at Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board ( ) Teachers’ Award Ceremony, held in line with the Sustainable Development Agenda of His Excellency, Governor Senator Uba Sani. This recognition is not just a personal achievement but a symbol of the excellence, resilience, and dedication of all teachers in Kaduna State.

Teaching is not just a profession, it is a calling, a sacrifice, and a legacy.
To every teacher who has ever inspired a child, given hope to a struggling learner, or refused to give up on a student, you are the true architects of our future.

Thank you for your service, your patience, and your unwavering faith in the power of education.
Happy Teachers’ Day 2025! 🎓✨.

*Hope for our people.*

Today, history was made at the Comprehensive Health Center, Saminaka as Tiyaye Foundation flagged off a Free Medical Support Programme for pregnant women and elderly persons.
On behalf of my boss, the Executive Chairman of Lere Local Government Area, Hon. Jafaru Ahmed, I had the honor of first receiving leadership delegation from the State at the LGA Secretariat before proceeding to the program venue.

The activity was graced by top dignitaries including:
The representative of our Executive Governor, Sen. Uba Sani, ably represented by his Special Adviser, Hon. Isah Lawal Sani.
The Member representing Zaria Constituency, Barr. Bashir Mamod.
Our revered royal fathers, the Emir of Saminaka and the Chief of Chawai.
Some of our Lere LGA stakeholders and community leaders.

This act is timely and deeply impactful, reaffirming our dear Governor’s vision of a Kaduna State where healthcare, inclusivity, and human dignity remain top priorities. Tiyaye Foundation has once again shown that when government and non-governmental actors partner, the lives of the people are truly transformed.
On behalf of the good people of Lere, we extend profound gratitude to Tiyaye Foundation and pledge our continuous support to the people-centered leadership of my Boss Hon Jafaru Ahmed and His Excellency, Sen. Uba Sani.

Together, we are building a healthier and stronger Lere, a greater Kaduna State, and a prosperous Nigeria.

Happy Id el Maulud to All Muslims 🌙

On this blessed occasion of Id el Maulud, I extend my warmest greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Lere Local Government, Kaduna State, and across Nigeria.
Today reminds us of the noble values of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) compassion, humility, peace, and service to humanity. These virtues are timeless and guide us in building stronger families, united communities, and a more prosperous nation.
As we celebrate, let us continue to embrace the spirit of tolerance, unity, and love for one another, for it is only in peace and togetherness that we can achieve true development in Lere and Nigeria at large.

May this Id el Maulud bring blessings to our homes, harmony to our communities, and progress to our nation.

Happy Id el Maulud!
