The Nigerian Army has arrested two men in Borno State over alleged links to Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists.

According to the military, the suspects were involved in supplying items including drugs, chemicals, communication radios, and other materials believed to support terrorist operations. One of the suspects reportedly confessed to assisting the groups.

Military authorities emphasized that disrupting supply networks is a key part of the fight against terrorism, noting that insurgents rely on food, medicine, communication equipment, and logistical support to sustain their activities.

BOOM 💥: The Minister of Defence, retired General Christopher Musa, has challenged Nigerian youths to rise up and lead the fight against insecurity.

My take: Whenever they say young people should step up, the question is always: how? Many will tell you to join the military and risk your life, while their own children are comfortably studying abroad in some of the safest countries and best schools.

Meanwhile, many Nigerian parents now worry every day about their children simply going to school because of kidnappings and insecurity.

Leadership should start with creating a country where citizens can live, learn, and work safely—not shifting the burden onto the same people already bearing the consequences. God where do we run to?????
